As for the ACL comment 1st Edge is out with achilles(IMO is a lot worse) not ACL and ACL is easy fixed and isn't that bad these days. But the thing with Rey is he's already had like 5 or so injuries on his knee and that aint gud. His knee is probably fucked up bad. And is gonna be suffering with pain for rest of his life. And arthritis is a dead cert to be on the cards.

I could see them putting a mask on Evan Bourne or something and giving him a new name, I would hate that but it could have a chance at working. Rey should take a year off or something, he's had a great year and he deserves a long break, could help with his injuries and everything then when he returns it could be big.

Let's see Mysterio disappears mysteriously for a long time to heal his injuries. During that time Evan Bourne starts showing up dressing identical to Rey Mysterio. The announcers are confused but this goes on for several months or until Mysterio is healed up and comes back causing even more confusion until they finally meet in a mask vs. mask match with Mysterio winning.

That would be the smart, logical and awesome way of booking. WWE would probably have Bourne show up in the rey mysterio getup and drop the mask in two weeks.

Mysterio got way too big the past couple of years, and that's probably why he's so injury prone now. It sucks to see him end up like this, he's still pretty young.

Bourne would be great to fill that high-flyer, good guy role, but he can't be nowhere near as big a draw to the Hispanic-American audience as Mysterio is. Maybe they can bring up Low Ki/Kawal, or some of the lucha guys, but Mysterio can be the biggest money maker without doing anything on Smackdown.

You ever heard Ki speak? There is no way you could put him over as hispanic.
