Enough time has passed to where whatever heat he did have shouldn't matter to much if they wanted to sign him. I'm pretty sure though if he cameback to WWE it would be to pretty much pair him with D-Von. Can't really see them bringing him back as a solo act.

The heat with Trips should have passed by now if there ever really was any. I could see Orton and Batista being a little bitter and what not, mainly Orton but I don't think it would be that bad. They don't really need to be paired together or anything.

According to Ray himself in a shoot years ago after they left WWE yeah the heat with Trips was real. He was being pushed pretty well as a solo guy until his arm went dead and dropped Trips on his head. Was pretty much a wrap from that point on as far as his push went.
