I am not much of a car fan yet I am a big fan of this show. The three presenters are so entertaining and the interaction between them really makes this show work. They all actually seem to get along and seem to be friends which makes the segments work better.

My favourite part of the show is by far the challenges. I find the presenters to be at their funniest when on these challenges. Some of my favourites include the 24 hour race they did at Silverstone, the Singapore special, the race through london at peak hour with a car, boat, bicycle and public transport and the Bolivia special.

Anything with the Stig is great to watch. The news is normally good as is the cool wall. The star in the reasonably priced car is alright but probably my least favourite part.

Anyone else watch this show? If so what is your favourite segment?

We are pretty lucky here in Australia aswell with regards to coverage. It is on free to air television three times a week and then on pay-tv Foxtel which I have it is on BBC Knowledge every single day. The shows have good replay value aswell, where you can rewatch them againn and again and they are still good and entertaining.

The problem I have with star in the car is some of the guests are just so boring. Still it normally only takes up 5 minutes which isn't that bad.

Top Gear is the greatest show in the world! In England there are re-runs everyday! It is amazing because you can watch the same episode a few days in a row and you can't get bored of it lol. The Star in the reasonably priced car is okay but it depends on who it is really. I mean if they got someone who everyone knows then it's good but recently they just get relitvly unknown which makes the show boring. Some of my favourite bits have to be the challenges also. Anything which they have to buy a car for under a budget normally brings a tear of laughter to me but the best has to be the Caravan Holiday, the best thing ever said "Guy's how do you put out a ChipPan fire?" "Wet tea towel" "Okay how do you put out a caravan fire"

Some of the guests I don't even know who they are since they are mainly UK celebrities. Jimmy Carr is always good, JayKay is great because he knows a lot about cars, Simon Cowell was entertaining aswell. Some of the others are a bit boring unless they are comedians.

The ending to the caravan holiday had to be set up, where another person's caravan burns down. It was a great episode and the quick growth of the fire and their reaction was classic. The view of the traffic they held up was great as was when they turned out of the petrol station too soon and smashed the caravan into a post. Another great challenge was when they had to make their own limo's from regular cars that they bought, Hammond's covertible, Clarkson's giant stretch and May's double ended car were all great.

For me one of the greatest episodes was the American Special, were they had to buy cars for less than a hire car. Driving through the mid-south with "Guy love rules, Ok?" on the side of your car most of been hard to do and just everything on the episode was funny. The best though was eating the road kill, "how do you prepair a possum?" You peel it made me have a giggle aswell, when Jermey came with the Cow on his roof that just topped the episode off.

That episode made me dislikes Americans from those states a lot. The opinions of some of those people were crazy. They were going to bash them for the comments written on the cars and even chased them with a pickup truck full of hillbillies. When watching it I lost it when Jeremy drove in with the cow on his car. The testing of the cars on the track was funny aswell, with Richard not stopping in time and going into the lake and with American Stig being a fat version of the stig.

The follow up American special was funny aswell as they were told they were too funny last time and have to be factual rather than entertaining. Jeremy getting pulled over drag racing in front of a casino and trying to get out of it by saying his foot slipped. The fact that the police keep checking on them to see if they were being entertaining shows that they don't have their priorities right.

what a couple of episodes you guys have quoted right there! to be honest there 2 of the best ones they have ever produced, but then again there have been many amazing ones, lets just take the polar episode! its amazing to see how they do it in a car while hammond was using dogs! and how can you forget the africa episode? "Hammond has fallen in love with his car" and having the beetle behind them made it all the funnyer!

I have just watched the Polar episode and everytime I do I just find myself felling so much happier! I can imagine most of it is staged but it is just really funny :p, having a celabratory tin of SPAM, having G&T whislt driving, dragging James behind whist he's on the toilet it all to overwhelming :p

It's the best job in the world! If someone told you that you would be driving loads of exotic supercars, travelling loads of countries, doing loads of challenges and with a good sum of money as well, you would pounce at the job :p

You guys keep reminding me of great challenges. The Africa special was great where Hammond wouldn't remove anything from his car when they had to travel over the desert and in the end he made the right choice since the others were choked with dust. Him being stuck in the river was quite funny with the car since he seemed so upset. I also liked how the locals removed the water from the car, shooting a hole in the car with a shotgun.

I saw the polar special for the first time earlier this week. It would have sucked being Hammond and having to take the dog sled and run along with that rather than the other two who were able to be inside a car. May making G &T's whilst they were driving was hilarious.

It would be a fantastic job to have, it must be one of the most wanted in television. Hopefully they stick around for some time and keep producing more episodes as they work so well together.

Rumour has it that they are trying to do more interesting stuff for the next series but good ol' health and safety have dulled it down a notch. I quite like the little challenges like buying a car like a teen and doing challenges with them and Jeramy putting a paddling pool in his car and put a lilo on it. Classic lol.

BBC would be crazy to get rid of this show since it must be a massive money spinner for them. It would be costly to produce especially because the insurance would be high but they would make their money from selling the show overseas and from DVD's, books etc.

I hope they have a few more series on the way because it would be nice to see some new episodes.
