If we are using full time

Clearly The Rock would count as part-time. That's pretty obvious...

I would have to go:

John Cena
CM Punk
Randy Orton
Sheamus
Daniel Bryan

I found it very tough not to put Cena first, so he had to go there. The rest I'm pretty pleased with as I don't think anybody else is as important to the WWE as those 5 are right now.

Interesting that most people have the same five guys in their lists, just in a different order. I would have to agree and my top five would be;

1. Cena
2. Punk
3. Orton
4. Sheamus
5. Bryan

Orton was number two for so long but I really think that going to Smackdown hurt his standing in the company and Punk has been able to grasp that opportunity to take second place. Top three are pretty clear and I think that Sheamus has shown that he is over enough with the crowd and is a top star to take fourth spot. Fifth spot is tough but as of right now it has to be Bryan, not sure what it will be in six months time because he could easily be back in the midcard by then. Hopefully by this time next year guys like Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler etc. are close to breaking into the top five.

I really don't think WWE has a definitive #2 draw right now, which explains why the people they are pushing always shifts dramatically and people like Taker, Brock, Rock, and Triple H are still carrying the load at the big ppv's. Having these people work part time schedules is pretty counterproductive to establishing new draws because their rarity on television creates a certain "mystique" about them that makes fans want to see them more than anyone.

If I were judging only from what I read from fans on the internet, then CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are already bigger than Cena. But we all know that's not the case.

You can't build credible draws anymore, even when someone shows some sort of charisma or gets over, it's always time for people to take them down.

Let's face it, we look for people to fail.
