Top 10 PS2 Games

Doing this up before I put up the top 10 PS3 games. Wish I played Resident Evil 4 and Silent Hill 2-4 but whatever it will be awhile until I finally get those. Despite the power of the next generation consoles the PS2 is still the fucking King. It has more good games than the Wii has games. The PS3 and 360 also get destroyed in game selection unless you have a backwards compatible PS3.

So here's my list.

I know I'm probably forgetting a hand full of games. I didn't forget Jak 2 or 3 because I've never beaten them. Well post up your list. Everybody has owned a PS2 and everybody has played ten good games on it. So post up those lists.

You need to play the GOW games. Unless you have the Collection for the PS3. I need to play Silent Hill 2-4 though so it's all good.

I've never played GOW, ever. I think it's because people go nuts over it and I always tend to avoid things like that because I think they will turn out like Halo (which I absolutely hate).

I was actually thinking, though, of renting the PS3 pack.

Man, I owned at least 3 PS2s, but at that time in my life I was having more fun drinking and smoking pot than playing games, so my list is somewhat narrow.

Yeah Def Jam Vendetta was fucking awesome. Wasn't to happy with the sequel however.

Fight for New York was good, it was the 3rd one that sucked massive fat ass, the one made for the 360. YUCK.

But the first one was so awesome since it was made by AKI, the people behind the greatest wrestling games of all time: WCW-nWo World Tour to WWF No Mercy. When I found out they were developing this game way back in 02 I rushed to Funcoland (Gamestop before it was Gamestop) and slapped my 50 bucks on the counter and told them to reserve it. I never regretted it.

Def Jam was pretty good. You have missed out on the best console in terms of game selection. But at least you were getting blazed I guess.

And 2K5 was pretty great too, I just wasn't a fan of Franchise mode and those ESPN morons all over it. THE CRIB was pretty freakin' epic though. Carmen Electra was way too good though. D:
