Although there is a difference between the flat out cowards (ie: Edge), and BA heels like Undertaker during his biker phase. All heels have a propensity to show cowardice, but not all heels are known as cowards.

True, but the way you were saying it sounded like all heels were cowardly little punks, when there's a big difference between the cowardice that somebody like Undertaker would show, and that somebody like Chris Candido would show when he ran laps around the ring trying to run away from his opponent.
In all honesty, I think the only problem we'd have is if all the heels tried to play the cocky, arrogant, cool heel. With my character, for example, I play him as talking a big game, but being a cowardly little punk in the ring. That a lot different from the cool, calm composed heel, like what Triple H would normally play.

Alot easier to write for a heel and be badass then to be some cocksucking face. I know myself, could never write for a face. I'd have two rps then have to rehash them over and over. With a Heel you can just bitch about how your coffee has too much sugar and then string along a metaphor with me being dark rich coffee and how you the pansy sugar tries to sweeten, weaken the journey and still reach your goals.. the caffeine. . Bang i got a essay RP. Fuck heels are awesome

thats your opinion, but if its really so much easier, then your saying guys who RP well as a face are better than guys who RP as a heel, which isnt true.

When I first started in the IWF, and this was a lot of months ago, I was an egotistical heel. This was mainly because I find that the character of a heel comes much easier to me. I naturally write much, much better as a heel than I do as a face; as you can probably tell by my recent rps (the last two). When we decided to start back up, I signed up to play my natural heel role, when I was asked and convinced by Adam Freeman to change over to a face; as the number of heels in the e-fed currently were greatly outweighing the number of faces. I agreed. I don't know about the other rp'ers in this e-fed, but I find it a lot, lot easier to write heel than to write face.

That's just my take.

I see where you and the other people who agree are coming from but I personally do not see much of a difference anymore. The first character I ever had was the generic egotistical heel. I wasn't very good at roleplaying then but I felt it easier to roleplay with this character as a heel. Then a face turn came and I found myself climbing into my niche with the face persona. I'm a heel here in IWF with this brand new character and do feel slightly more at home as far as roleplaying is concerned.

What I'm trying to say is as I matured as a roleplayer it got easier and easier to roleplay in any type of role. It also depends on the type of charater you're playing, for example it would be tough for me to pull out consistent roleplays for a goody goody face as opposed to an edgier break the rules face. Same goes for the many different types of heels.

I kind of see being a heel as more of the easy way out for a lot of roleplayers. It's an easier task to connect with your audience by being arrogant and putting down opponents than actually get the people on your side. It's the same way in real wrestling, to get heat all you need to do is say something negative about your opponent or the fans themselves. As a face, what really drives people to like you? It's clearly harder to roleplay as a face but it's definitely more challenging.
