So he knew from the start who he wanted, or at least so he says. I believe it with that one poster having all 4 men on it, in the same order. Nice to see he did have Bryan win because of the fact it make everyone second guess. I still like if Miro won, but still good reason.

Only downside is they’ve put themselves in a situation now where either Bryan or Page have to lose.

Unless you go with a shitty DQ finish

Plans change sometimes. He knew back before the first was crown who the first 4 would be.

Plans change is a dopey concept.

You think George Lucas thought the popularity of Darth Vader was going to change his story?

Booking your first 4 champions before the first is crowned and having a full two years mapped out is impressive. He even put spoilers in the All Put graphic that Kenny Omega even kept as his Twitter header.

Booking your champions 2 years in advance isn’t far fetched or THAT impressive. I will give him credit for sticking to his guns though. But let’s not act like this is something trailblazing

How many other companies are currently doing that?

I’d say zero US ones, maybe New Japan does.

WWE is low key doing it with Roman. Building him to lose to a up and coming star or someone big.

Like I said, if this was TK’s plan and he stuck with it despite adding Bryan and Punk then good on him.

But this is what wrestling is built on. He’s not changing the wheel

You think WWE has already decided who the up and coming star is?

I don’t think Roman loses to an up and comer now. I always said I thought E cashed in on him.

Now I think Roman loses to Rock in 2023.

Only 2 unestablished main event names winning the belt off him were E and Dream

Agreed he's not changing the wheel though, he's bringing back shit that's worked in the past. Not a lot of his ideas are any sort of original and they all tend to have some nostalgia from various (vastly different usually) types of wrestling from the past. Hence the "wrestling nerd nirvana" term that's been coined
