I mean again it's something done in real life in UFC. I don't mind it tho I think there should be a time limit. Maybe it's also because Toni's reign has been FAR better than Rosa (for reason in and out of Rosa's control)

Kind of proved the point of interim titles being terrible ideas.

The usage of interim titles have stagnated alot of weight divisions in the UFC.

Just easier to book the champion who never lost the title against the current champion.

Yeah the interim title is kinda dumb. Especially at this point. Should’ve just stripped Rosa, gave Storm the title and said Rosa gets a shot at the belt she never lost when she gets back.

Been saying Interim championships are dumb in general. If your champion can't compete strip the belt and give it to the next person in line. Because now when Rosa come back and hopefully drops to Toni you would then have to extend her reign by x months to make up for lost time and can eventually lost for Hayter, in a way.

My issue with the whole interim title thing goes back to the beginning of AEW when rankings were going to matter. You built a storyline that would've remedied this whole thing.

• Champion is injured and can't defend the title.
• Champion is stripped of said title.
• The people ranked 2nd and 3rd in title rankings have a match for said title.
• When the former champion returns, he/she gets a shot for the title that he/she technically never lost.

That would fix the entire issue.

I mean that is the logical way of doing things. I'm not quite sure TK ever thought the interim thing was a good idea. Guess like it was previously said, much like the rankings he wanted to emulate the way combat sports companies like UFC and Bellator did things.
