Seems a strange one to me? Its not like he doesn't have more experienced wrestling based people around him. Are you a fan of this move? Also do you think its possible for a person with no experience in the wrestling business to be a good booker?

Could be a disaster.
Surely at least give Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard a go? Hell, maybe even Dustin Runells.

It is my impression that the EVPs were in charge of the booking until that disastrous dynamite which closed 2019. Cody was likely in charge of singles, Matt and Nick for tag teams and Kenny for the women (Brandi may have been meddling with the women's division and lost a power struggle when the nightmare collective was thankfully finished). It seems to me that Tony took charge of the booking after that and stayed in charge.

I think the booking is questionable at times. The current team should continue to do big picture booking but I think they really need an experienced booker to book backwards from the PPVs and make the weekly shows flow a bit better. I think Vince Russo is an excellent candidate. He has a proven track record however history has been unfair to him. Under no circumstances should he have absolute power because some of his ideas were really out there. With that being said, the man does think outside the box and wrestling needs new ideas and concepts more than anything right now.

Wait till Jericho comes out as Spartacus.

I thought of Russo but he'll get shit on no matter what.
Maybe they could try and lure Paul Heyman away from WWE?

I doubt Heyman leaves WWE unless Brock is involved, and knowing how AEW feels about most of WWE's top stars, Brock wouldn't even blow his nose with what they'd offer him.

So is Heyman still with WWE? I know they dropped him as booker?

Maybe they could give the other Tony the pen. Then he can make Nerve Campbell Woman's Champion?....

I wouldn't want Lesnar to come with him.
I'm sure they can find someone else to be his "advocate."

But you're likely right.

Scream 5 is in production.
What a crossover that would be. :lmao

If Khan opens up his wallet and lures Heyman to the book, AEW will explode. It'll be literal Dynamite.

As for Tony Khan, I stopped watching the weekly product, but I can tell the PPVs feel different and IDK if I like it.

Why would Heyman leave a sweet gig for a much more stressful and time consuming one?

Tbh "head of creative" could also just mean he's in charge of delegating people to actually do the writing and booking lol If he tries to run it like I imagine Vince does in WWE then yeah, I don't have much faith in him but if he listens and is opened minded then it could be fine.

A young Heyman would have liked the challenge and had passion for something. Old Man Heyman maybe not though

We're talking about a man who banned Linda Hogan, somebody who's not even involved in the wrestling business anymore if ever, because of her last name. I don't think he's very open-minded. :TI:
