Tomko resigns with TNA

Former WWE & TNA wrestler Travis Tomko is backstage at the TNA iMPACT! taping in Orlando, Fla today.

He is scheduled to appear tonight.

Tomko is backstage at the TNA tapings today as noted earlier but may not be used tonight. He is in the booking plans leading into TNA's next PPV but that could always change. It's possible they may use him tomorrow night instead. I'm under the impression that he has not signed any sort of deal at this time. We're working to get that confirmed.

Yeah I'm not sure what they can do with him either. For some reason he seems like TNA's version of Batista to me.

My guess is they'll put him with someone as a tag team again.

Not Tomko's fault in the slightest. The booking squad missed the boat so badly with Tomko, the only thing they screwed up worse was Joe's title run. Tomko was getting mad heat and had he turned on Angle he'd be a top guy right now. It looks like TNA realized how badly they messed up and it seems Matt Morgan took Tomko's place, problem is Morgan has nothing on Tomko, nothing against Morgan but the only thing he excels at is his look.

I wish TNA would bring in Giant Bernard (Albert) to team with Tomko, they both improved so much together in Japan, it would be a way to re-establish not only Tomko but the tag division in general with such a strong team. If you haven't seen them overseas, go youtube 'em. Good stuff.

I forgot about him teaming with Albert in Japan, I have seen some of their matches and they've gotten much better, especially Albert. That would be cool to see them team in TNA and TNA doesn't really have a "power house" tag team.
