TODAY; WHEN THE WAR BEGAN
Total Non-Stop Action
World Wrestling Entertainment

The two current companies that command respect throughout the wrestling world. TNA, recently announcing that they would be moving back to Thursday Night, now having to go head to head with WWE Superstars. Did Vince see Total Non-Stop Action is a threat? Possibly. That was why he had to take it from the picture.

Lets go back in time a little bit to January 4th, the day that TNA iMPACT made its debut on Monday Nights and as its second hour went head to head with Monday Night RAW! They put on a debut that they could be proud of, but the ratings began to fall after that night and with that happening, Carter would need to bring this company to the forefront, or sell it off. The only possible buyer? Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

Although they had their meeting, the negotiations were hot and heavy, as lawyers were bought in to review the contract, with Dixie Carter leading McMahon into the fray. The thing was, neither the TNA or the WWE stars were told of these negotiations, even though these two entrepenours had their futures in their hands. They argued long into the night, from Stanford to the TNA headquarters, but the thing was, Vince had this planned.

Hulk Hogan! A man that was gaining two paycheques every week. One that was given to him, the other that went into a secret account, but who was giving him the other paycheque? Who else, Vince McMahon! The man had infilitrated the company and had superstars bought in from the 90's, that were out of shape and their only other way of getting a paycheque was getting into the Independant scene!

Now, we go to the fact that these two were trying to come to a number for the number of shares; those of which Dixie had, would go to the McMahon family and most importantly, the price.

Saying that Over the Limit went off without a hitch for World Wrestling Entertainment, would be a lie. During the show, before and after various superstars competed in their matches, they were taken out and found laying on their back backstage. What was going on? Was it a storyline, most fans thought so, but the truth was, the staff backstage were frantic. They had no cameras where people were being attacked. The same happened the next week for the TNA Sacrifice PPV, proving that it was not a storyline for either company; but who was doing it?
