I guess, that is fair, but if you judge a wrestler by their first look or match or however you want to put it then a lot of people should be hating on a lot of popular wrestlers, lol. I also never got the "discounted Dean" meme/joke either so.

Same but I guess that may be bc I knew who Eddie was way before Mox/Ambrose

Now, I did think he was straight up becoming Tommy Dreamer Jr. for a minute tho lol

at the time Eddie was really trying to come off as baddass and a hardcore wrestler and to me he came off like a goof , which is similar to how I felt about the Dean Ambrose character

for me it comes just from 1st appearances. I fell onto impact in like late 2010 and I already really disliked Dean Ambrose for context. First match I saw was a tv match between Eddie and Dreamer and it fucking sucked and thats all it took lol

They've never had a singles match on TV

im going off memory so maybe it was vs someone else and dreamer was involved. as chris said, it was very much part of the eddie trying to be dreamer jr storyline. it was on some replay on wtv the canadian fight network is and it was at least 4+ years ago, likely 5

Did you watch any ROH Eddie? It was crazy jarring for me watching him turn into a t shirt wrestling brawler when he was nothing like that the first few years I watched him
