I have to disagree there. I’m over it now, but removing the six-sided ring did irreparable damage to the fans trust in the brand. They could have slowly phased it out later if needed, but doing it when hogan got there was a recipe for disaster.

Well yeah his promo burying the company before he came didn't help

Yeah, especially now I’m good with it, but to be fair, a good chunk of the talent weren’t even aware they preferred the four at the time as they’d become accustomed to it. It was more so when they changed back to six in 2016 or whenever it was when they were like this sucks lmao

A lot of ex WWE guys hated it too, if 4 sided indie rings weren't concrete the others would have I bet lol

Oh for sure, AJ and Sting argued over it on table for 3. AJ said he preferred bumping in 4, but he preferred 6 because it made them stand out.

Jarrett even said a lot of TNA’s big deals were specifically because of. Toys, the video game and even spike was lately interested because tna “looked” different.

But yeah, shame they couldn’t make it not be concrete. They definitely never need to go back now. Especially when they’ve already ping-ponged on it so much anyway lol

Doesn’t help that they changed the logo (and I think the tv station) when they did it so it looked so much cheaper.

I liked it more than the next one by Anthem, but yeah, it was such a downgrade. Which made the return of the six sides look terrible when that new logo was on it. It doesn’t help that they put the six sides on the logo and kept it on the version that went on the buckles. I don’t need the pads reminding me I’m looking at the six sides. I can see it.
