Ok, but it was his choice why except the invitation if he didn't want to be there?

WWE probably had him go there in exchange for the Flair deal. WWE basically "own" these guys with their contracts.

Plus it would put him in the good books with WWE management. It was a pretty raw deal that they asked for a full time wrestler considering Flair was mainly out of the ring talent in TNA. I can see why he would be annoyed but it was only for one night and he only had to put over the fans.

Just watched the PPV, and I'm kinda' pissed I didn't end up going. Easily the best TNA PPV of the year, almost every match was damn good, even the Garett/Devon tag match was alright. Bully Ray/Joseph Park was the only real let down. Main event wasn't bad, still shouldn't have been the main event, but I can't even complain. I can honestly say this was a great PPV.

This was an amazing show, The main event was a little disappointing because it was so short, but every other match aside from D-Von and Garrett vs. Robbie E and T, and Bully Ray vs. Park were really good.

Even Devon and Garett vs The Robbies surprised me. I wouldn't call it good, but it wasn't near as bad/boring as I thought it would be. Terry's ring time was limited to hardly any, which was a blessing.

I wouldn't watch it then, but it was better than Bully vs Park for sure, fairly short too.

Christian's appearance on TNA's Slammiversary pay-per-view was indeed part of a deal made between the two companies when WWE wanted Ric Flair to appear the Hall of Fame according to F4Wonline.com.

Christian was told by WWE to cooperate and do the appearance because it affected WWE getting Flair for the Four Horsemen induction. Christian reportedly didn't want to do the TNA appearance.

WWE gave the approval for TNA to advertise Christian at the pay-per-view on TNA's go-home episode of Impact but Dixie Carter decided against it. Reportedly Carter wanted to wait and tease the appearance on Twitter as the event got closer to create an internet buzz of speculation.

So let me get this straight. You have a current WWE Champion coming to your PPV and you're given the go ahead to promote it on live weekly television.... but you pass that up for twitter and your small amount of followers?

Wonder why Christian didn't want to do it..

If true it is strange that Dixie wouldn't announce it on Impact as it would have been seen by 1.4 million people rather than 140k people on Twitter.

Christian probably didn't want to do it since he now works for WWE and his work with TNA is in the past. Maybe WWE gave him the IC title as a reward for doing this appearance for them?
