I think people took too much focus on the storyline of NXT holding their titles when that’s just a storyline. It would be different if trick didn’t show up on the shows, but he does. He also shows off the TNA title on WWE.

I can already foresee that this result pissed people off and I can see why. Santana realistically probably should’ve just won here, but they put Santana over huge with the way Trick had to steal his win, Santana didn’t get beat and now they’re gonna go towards the biggest pay-per-view of the year.

Also, this allows Leon’s big victory over moose and that torch he got from AJ to mean more when Santana didn’t also win on the show.

It honestly killed my interest in the company. I had it on in the background while playing Lego Fortnite but I wasn't giving it much attention.

I also wouldn't even count on him winning at BFG. Everyone said the same thing about Joe Hendry, and that didn't happen at BFG. TNA gonna TNA.

I can’t tell you how to feel, but all the booking beats are lining up perfectly. Santana had the match won, trick came in and stole the victory from him and it was Joe that got beat so Santana almost won and wasn’t beaten so it makes perfect sense for him to continue chasing.

I don’t think it’s quite the same thing here though because Santana losing here would be the same thing as Joe losing at bound for glory. The second chance that he gets at the title is when Joe won so theoretically BFG would be where Santana would be winning in parallel to Joe.

I mentioned it earlier before I even saw the main event that I kind of telegraphed I thought Trick was gonna retain because booking wise the way that they put Leon Slater over and really made him the next breakout superstar with moose, putting the belt on him and then AJ coming out to give him the torch. You really don’t wanna take away from that by also strapping Santana on the same show. It also gives the fans another top babyface to look forward to being crowned later.

So I’ll be hoping with you. If Santana loses at BFG, that’ll be suicide.
