-- Elijah Burke has been signed by TNA and will be debuting under a new ring name that is said to be likely a heavily gimmicked name. Burke has been wrestling a lot at Ohio Valley Wrestling as of late.

-- Reports on The British Invasion’s Rob Terry say that he’s "clueless" in the ring. Terry was trained by Team 3D at their wrestling school in Florida.

-- The goal is to build Bobby Lashley up and then go hard on a Brock Lesnar challenge, pushing Lashley as both a wrestling and MMA star. Lashley was quiet backstage at the TNA shows.

-- TNA teased a split between The LAX on iMPACT this week as Hernandez and Homicide had some words between each other. Word is that the team won’t be breaking up but both of them are going to be used as mainly singles stars right now. Hernandez is in line for a big push.

a "heavily gimmicked" name? I wonder what that could be. I'm happy TNA is pushing someone new, Hernandez is certainly a great talent and one of the best big men in the business. I can't wait to see him tear the house down with Samoa Joe this Thursday night on iMPACT!

Thoughts?

I've been watching Hernandez bloom since he was participating in local indies here in San An, and TNA could really use a strong Latino on the roster for the sure fire Latino draw, hopefully this isn't the average TNA "push" where young, exciting worker A goes over in some stupid over booked #1 contender-reverse battle royal on a pole match then is quickly dispatched by no-draw washup A, then quickly shoveled into a feud with no draw, no name young boring workers like Eric Young and Rhino.

TNA is going to build Lashley up as a PRO WRESTLER to challenge Brock Lesnar to an MMA FIGHT?

That makes sense.

Hernandez is a monster, it's about time he's gotten a push outside of LAX. The only problem is him on the promos, I've never really seen him speak ever.

Elijah Burke should've been huge with WWE, I have no idea why he didn't go far. I'm hoping he'll catch on with TNA, his charisma should make him useful.

That was the same thing I was thinking. Lashley's entire run in TNA has just him walking out...everyone not on the internet (which actually makes up a larger portion of the wrestling audience) already thought he had signed. Then they play that interview on ESPN during the PPV to announce that he has signed with TNA, and talks for a few seconds about TNA but as a side gig to his real career as an MMA fighter and how he wants to eventually face Brock Lesnar blah blah, MMA, MMA, and yeah I'll wrestle on the side.

TNA may do a fantastic job of building up Lashley, too bad its at the expense of TNA. I mean your basically making your promotion less important. Way to go TNA, great job....cause I'm pretty sure the only way Lashley is challenging Lesnar for the title is in UFC and UFC ain't going to sign him if he's wrestling and since Lashley has already told the entire world that wrestling is his focus, TNA will be left with nothing.

I hope they don't fuck up Burke. I actually liked him WWE and was real disapointed he disapeared from tv, to eventually getting released. So here's hopeing TNA does good with him.

As for Hernandez, it's good that TNA is pushing someone new, and hopefully this wont lead to what Enzo said above. Also great to hear LAX aren't breaking up, just doing separate things.

EDIT:

And lol at Rob Terry.

I'm still pissed off that WWE let Elijah go, atleast now with him in TNA well get to see him doing something, although I would have prefered him to go and have a few matches in ROH or something. I also don't like the sound of a geavily gimmicked name, what was wrong with Elijah Burke?

Good news about Hernandez, always been a big fan of his and now well get to see him a little more hopefully, him Vs Joe on Impact could be good, there are alot of guys he hasn't really faced/feuded with due to him being a fulltime tag wrestler so this should be good.

Get rid of Lashley tbh, he's shit and is probably getting a shitload of money for doing nothing.

Lashely: I thought he was a great signing for them, but given the dynamics of and between the two industries, TNA's idea is absolutely ridiculous!

Bout damn time Hernandez got a push! He deserved one like two years ago.

Never saw the big deal about Elijah "Rockin the Venus Williams beads" Burke.

Bobby Lashley trying to follow in Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders footsteps, minus the charisma.

I'm fine with LAX doing seperate things as long as they don't split them up. Eventually TNA is going to go the WWE route and screw over actual tag teams. I hate it when they split up actual good tag teams and put the belts on just two big guys that wont stay together. (Ex. Splitting the Colons and putting the belts on Big Show/Jericho)
