BM: Curryman and Sharkboy vs. Styles and Tomko, wonderful match, flowed nicely

WM: Rhino vs. Sting wasn't bad, it could have been longer though.

BP: Roode and Lethal was well done, the opener was equally great with Kaz and Angle

WP: N/A

AC: Great to see you back in BTB. This is the first time I am checking this out. I am curious to see how this is going to work, Booker and Sting are mid carding while Matt Morgan main events...? Well, then again, Kaz is holding 2 titles, so Booker mid carding doesn't seem that odd anymore, jk jk. I love the poster you have with Kaz with both belts, looks real! Great work, loved your first show.

Thanks for the review XBA:)
Just thought Id clarify though... I think the rosters are pretty accurate because right now, Booker is pretty much uppermidcarding in TNA and such and Morgan is getting a bit of a push. but also, remember this is at the start of 2009, so some stuff changes. But theyre based on the storylines I have for the people now, and I have some stuff planned for Morgan and roode (why theyre in the ME) and not so much for Booker. But its in order of status, meaning like Booker is UPPER midcard and Morgan is a lower-tier Main eventer. Just thought Id clarify...
Thanks for the review though.

BM: Matt Morgan/James Storm

WM: Rhino/Sting...only because I think Rhino pinned Sting too easily/quickly

BP: Robert Roode. If Roode Inc. can sign the x division...that opens the doors to a lot of angles

WP: None. All of them seemed believable

Comments: Pretty good...It seemed like I was actually watching IMPACT. Definitely on par with your older BTB's

BM: Morgan/Storm, good written match and you got more out of them than i think i could
WM: Rhino/Sting, match was shorter than it would usually be. But it did put Rhino over making him look stronger than Sting
BP: I really liked Roode Inc promo at the end with him thinking he had all X division on his side.
WP: Rhino one after his match.
AC: Long time since you did a btb and by the looks of it you will pick up from where you left.

BM: I am going with Matt Morgan vs James Storm, it was an interesting match and was the best, no doubt about it. Christian vs Devine was good as well.

WM: Sting vs Rhino, it felt too short.

BP: I am going with the initial one of Kurt Angle/Kaz. It sets for a good rivalry and was very interesting to say the least.

WP: Roode's one. It felt like a very anticlimatic way to end the show, besides, it felt it ended too quickly for its purpose. However, the storyline it could develop seems interesting.

AC: Good show. An interesting scenario in which to start a BTB and it set up a nice chunk of storylines.

The review I promised...

Best Match: Curryman/Sharkboy vs. AJ Styles and Tomko- As XBA pointed out, this match was written very nicely and it flowed well throughout.

Worst Match: Rhino vs. Sting- It was so short. I think it could've been a bit longer than it was but it wasn't a horribly written match. It could've just been given a bit more time.

Best Interview/Segment: Kaz and Angle opening segment- Great opener. This was just written so well, I loved it.

Worst Interview/Segment: Rhino's promo after he defeated Sting- I just didn't like this promo. It wasn't bad, I just think he beat Sting a bit too easily.

Additional Feedback/Comments: I'm liking what I see thus far, Mike. Hopefully, you keep this up and stick with this BTB because it seems as though you have a lot of ideas for this one. Looking forward to your next show.

News Alert:

After Robert Roodes recent search on this week's iMpact, where he attempted to recreate Robert Roode Inc. TNA has learned that there is some big news for next weeks iMpact that may have to do with Robert Roode.

This is not an iMpact preview, but a breaking news alert.
It appears that TNA has signed 2 or more new stars to contracts that can see them debut in TNA anytime in the next 2 months. It is believed to be a one year contract. Stay tuned for more.
Robert Roode could not be reached for comment, but TNA Management Director Jim Cornette has said that it was a decision he made to sign the wrestler or wrestlers because he believes they can improve the product...
And remember this weeks iMpact can be viewed above still (Page 1)

Best Match: There are lot of great matches, I really liked the Morgan/Storm match and so does the tag match between Styles/Tomko and Curry Man/Sharkboy

Worst Match: Rhino/Sting, I think it's a pretty short match imo.

Best Promo: It's a tie between Roode and Lethal and Kaz and Angle

Worst Promo: n/a

Additional Feedback: It's a great first show. I wonder if Angle is going to take the X Division title out of Kaz as an insult. I wanna see Kaz in action on the next show! lol... Looks like we're going to see a Lethal/Roode feud, this is going to be great. I also wonder what will happen between Rhino and Sting after the War Machine had a quick win over the Icon. This is a great first show really, I liked it. Sorry for the late review, I am checking out your next show.

TNA iMpact Preview:
January Week 3

This week is sure to be an eventful iMpact. There will be 8 matches on tap, and fireworks are sure to go off as TNA broadcasts their first ever live show this Wednesday night from the iMpact Zone in Orlando, Florida!

Confirmed Matches for iMpact:

Petey Williams vs Sonjay Dutt

Abyss vs Matt Morgan

Booker T vs "Cowboy" James Storm

LAX(Homicide and Hernandez w/ Salinas) vs Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley)

Samoa Joe vs Christian

Team 3D vs The Rock N Rave Infection:
Last week, the Rock N Rave iNfection of Lance Hoyt and Jimmy Rave attempted to become number one contenders for the tag team titles. Hoyt had to fight one half of the tag champs, Homicide of LAX, but there was no winner when Black Reign and Rellik came in and attacked Homicide from LAX. This cost Rock N Rave their title shot, and later, Jim Cornette named Rellik and Reign the number one contenders. However, he said that to stay one of the top tag teams, this week Rave and Hoyt can team up to take on Team 3D and try to make a name for themselves.

Kurt Angle and Tomko w/AJ Styles vs Kaz and Jay Lethal:
Last week, Kaz made his victory speech in front of the TNA fans. He was celebrating because after his win at Final resolution, Kaz is now the TNA X Division Champion AND the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. However, Kurt Angle came out and ruined the party. Kurt was furious that an X Division wrestler like Kaz could be aloud to be TNA Heavyweight Champion. Kurt complained, saying that it was a stupid management rule to have an X Division wrestler be aloud to win the TNA Heabyweight Title, but that he couldnt compete for the X Division Championship. Kaz said he won both titles with hard work, something Kurt doesnt use. Kurt put down Kaz and the X Division, before stealing the X Division title with the help of Tomko and AJ Styles. He has since said that he wont givve kaz back his X Division Title unless Kaz is stripped of the TNA World title and goes back to the X Division. This week however Angle will team with Tomko from The Angle Alliance to battle new rival Kaz and his partner for the match, Black Machismo Jay Lethal!

Rhino vs Sting
Last week on iMpact, we had a what was supposed to be a great match. "The War Machine" Rhino returned to tv for the first time in months to take on "The Icon" Sting. However, a missed clothesline by Sting led to Rhino hitting his signature Gore(spear) on Sting and won the match. Afterwards however, while Sting was on the mat, Rhino stood over him and went on a rant, claiming that one of the reasons he wasnt on tv for months was because of guys like Sting, past their prime but still wrestling, and taking away from his time on tv. Rhino was claerly angry and this week, the two have agree on a match... If Sting loses, his legendary career is over at the hands of Rhino! Will we see a new chapter written in this rivalry on iMpact? Or will Stings career end before a rivalry can truely begin?

Also on iMpact:

After what happened last week on iMpact when Curry Man walked out on his match with harkboy, will we have more answers tonight? Curry Man left his long time partner in the ring last week to be beat, and this week Jeremy Borash will host an interview with the two to try to get to the meaning behind Curry Mans actions!

Also, last week on iMpact, Robert Roode attempted to reform Roode Inc. Apparently Roode was under the impression he had signed the entire X Division to become part of his Roode Inc, and have them work for him. However, Black Machismo soon came out and informed Roode that no deal was actually reached. Roode couldnt believe it, and Lethal insisted that Roode was not understanding the X Division right, but that they had not agreed to join Roode Inc. Roode wasfurious and tensions rose. However, this week, Roode has promised to deal with Lethal, and to also reveal is new Rode Inc. What will the Roode one have in store for us?
