Homicide, a former Ring of Honor champion, had been with TNA since 2005 and at one point, was part of one of the hottest acts in TNA, the LAX group with Konnan and Hernandez.

Homicide had hardly been used since the Bischoff/Hogan regime began, mostly used wrestling for TNA Xplosion bouts. On Impact, he was most recently used in an injury angle to further the Hernandez-Matt Morgan storyline with the idea that TNA would reform LAX down the line. Obviously, that will not come to pass.

Homicide recently relocated back to the Northeast, so I'd expect to see him back working for a lot of his old haunts soon. Homicide was also involved in training a lot of talents from that area, including Kaval of NXT, so I'd assume he's going to get back into training as well.
Homicide recently launched an official twitter at twitter.com/Notorious187_D.

the reason he has been hardly used is because he has a groin injury and refuses to pay for surgery... the injury angle was both to build up the hernandez vs. matt morgan angle and to cover his real injury. well i never really liked the guy much but he was interesting to watch. peace out little man. his release makes me think more unused young talent is going to be released soon. amazing red or suicide(kiyoshi) are probably next because they haven't been on impact in forever... i know kiyoshis been on xplosion but i don't think reds been used at all

maybe he was the tna wrestler who made that fake twitter account and said those things about dixie and the people quitting and shit and thats why he got fired?

He's better off back on the indies. RoH gets one of their originals back and the indies get a popular dude back on board. I want to see Homicide and Colt and Homi and Kevin Steen.

Wonder how Hernandez is taking this. Last time they talked about releasing Homicide Hernandez threatened to quit. Sucks LAX wont be getting back together now that TNA is putting more effort into the tag division.

Not sure Homicide is smart enough for that.

Enzo, check out Homicide's feud with Cabana from 05/06. Great stuff in there.

I don't want to seem like I'm celebrating here but I couldn't be happier to get Homicide back on the indy scene full time. Awesome!

Would have been nice to see an LAX reunion but I guess that won't happen, oh well, hope he comes back to ROH soon.

BIG news for Homicide, and it couldn't have come at a better time for ROH.

I know, that's what I was alluding to. It was the only time I thoroughly enjoyed Colt because he was serious and the matches were really good and that was the time RoH was just absolutely on fire. Strong Style Thugs were the shit. Low Ki even made Lethal look freakin awesome.

Yea but still the indies can't match what he was probably making at the height of his TNA career.. maybe ROH can though
TNA doesn't pay it's own talent well by any means. If he were a legend or being paid by Spike instead, then yeah, I could see that. But being in TNA raised his indy pay days. If Buff Bagwell can still get 600 clams from being relevant a decade ago, Homicide could easily fetch about 1500 working weekends, which is easily more than he was making in TNA. Alot of wrestlers have quit TNA because they were doing better on the indies, Punk and Airies come to mind.

Punk actually quit cuz he was mainly an roh guy at the time of the rob feinstein incident and he didn't want to leave roh.. he was never really a tna guy he just wrestled a couple matches for under a year
