DARTMOUTH - A procession of teary-eyed cheerleaders carried white roses and wore blue-and-white hair ribbons yesterday as a tribute to their beloved teammate, Kaitlyn Murray-Selinger.

Hundreds of mourners packed a Dartmouth church to say goodbye to the 14-year-old cheerleader.

The girl was hit by a truck last week while crossing a marked crosswalk at the corner of Pleasant and Arthur streets. She had been on her way to practice with the Dartmouth Extreme Cheer Thunder cheerleading squad.

Friends and family of the popular Grade 9 Prince Arthur Junior High student shared hugs and shed tears throughout yesterday's hour-long ceremony at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish Church.

Kaitlyn Murray was a great person and was loved by all. All my friends and the entire city of Halifax are devistaded by this news. Everyone here may not know her but please show support for her and her family by maybe just posting a small comment!!

Same thing I'd probably say at their funeral.

They wouldn't expect any less from me.

Actually, this is totally off topic, but a couple of friends are getting married, and since apparently there will be an open bar, I have been forced to promise that I will make no speeches.

I don't really need to keep it to myself when most of Canada knows about this already. She just wasn't my friend, she was lots of people's friend

TNA has cut former WWE superstar Orlando Jordan. TNA told Jordan it was a budgetary decision and at the present time, the company doesn’t have anything for him creatively.

Suprised Jordan made it as long as he did, his whole run and gimmick was a fail from the start. Sucks to see the Bucks leave though as they where a nice addition to the tag division, which right now is pretty weak and isn't going to get any better loosing a solid team.
