The plates are, but they unnecessarily added black behind all the AEW logos and changed the clean logos that this belt had for the full border and font logo.

It also replaced the two globes on the sides for a larger one in the middle and made the AEW logos on the sides be double instead. Also, with the black and full border font.

The original belt is clean. Which is why I loved it. The new belt has the same great plate design, but overly clutters the logos and distracts from how clean it used to be.

yeah i dont like changing the AEW logo from engraved gold to black and gold.

that spoiler belt looks like a replica, hope it is, def less nice in comparisson. im a fan of all gold belts with not colored letters or trim

I immediately wrote it off until I heard a new belt is being unveiled tonight. I hope to god it’s not this. The black just robs it off its cleanness. It’s also the border and name font too being added back in. It doesn’t need it. The gold engraved straight logo was great.

That’s what I was hoping for here with the TNA wod title, but I’ll take it because the logo is at least over a cool red globe and not a black backdrop.

Coming back to this guy. I’d definitely say the sides are meant to be a merging of the last two designs.

And the red glove kinda has that red backdrop energy of the last one. I prefer the globe, though. I do think a world title looks better with one.

The side plates swapped the double globes for double logos with the globe now centered instead of one logo. One cool thing a lot of people probably didn’t notice is the first belt had five logos that lined up across the center to the ends. The new one ruined perfectly lineup of logos.

The other difference is the center logo and side logos all now have the AEW border we know and love and the all elite wrestling words above and below that border. They also added an unnecessary black background behind all the logos.

I personally hate it and hope it’s not legit.

I actually like that. It’s a throwback to the old school WWF and WCW belts that had a fifth logo plate on only one side of the belt.

If this one came out and I never saw the original I might be ok with it, but when you already had perfection, this desecrates it for me.

Up until now AEW has only put the black background and full bordered logo on the top of belts and it looks fine up there, but it kills the vibe of the design in the center.

Like this one. Even the side logos have the globe behind the black background to avoid the clashing.

That is fine, and like I said it bugs me a little nothing too much I am sure I will eventually overlook or forget about it, lol. And yeah, I remember that as well.
