TNA Rebrand Discussion Thread

I be cool with it for like a one off or something or maybe some sort of yearly thing. But yeah from what I heard from wrestlers that thing hurts like hell

WTF. Like seriously WTF is this? Don't get me wrong this is cool. Just completely out of left field and random as all hell.

As the boss man said, It's time to retire the Impact Wrestling name. The Weekly show should be a completely new name.

Just to be clear, I think TNA impact is fine.

Just not impact wrestling.

I wasn’t expecting the six sides to come back. For one I think they flip-flopped on that too much. There’s no sense in bringing it back at this point.

The other thing is they got rid of it specifically when Don Callis and Scott came in. They are the ones that don’t like it so I had a feeling they weren’t gonna reverse decision on that. Where as the name was removed before Scott even got there

I do think they should get a new impact logo though.

Shame because I was just popping so hard for the logo on the mat but I won’t be able to use that after hard to kill

Just to be clear, I think TNA impact is fine.

Just not impact wrestling.

TNA Impact is fine but I would just love a completely fresh start. It's not like the Impact name has any real.... impact in moving sponsorships/TV deals or anything. The only people who would be so gung-ho on keeping the name are the die hards that are just happy to have the letters back.

If you bring back TNA and keep the Impact name, you'll be unlikely to ever go away from the name.

I have a feeling Scott has been trying to get TNA back for a while. I even think when he brought back the TNA title moose was caring around. That was his original plan was for that was TNA coming back, but I think anthem drag their feet on at the entire time. Which is wild that it took anthem so long to realize this was the fucking way to go, when even anthem hated the impact wrestling name. They even at one point were willing to merge impact with Jeff Jarrett’s GFW so they could have an official three letter name to put on their titles and on the pay per views and stuff. Anybody remember when it was GFW impact for like five months?
