What are some of your little pet peeves when it comes to TNA?

I know there are a lot of TNA haters out there, so if you got many I am not asking you to name them all.

My biggest pet peeve is that they try too hard in promos. Now, believe it or not I am not talking about Mr. Anderson. I am mainly talking about Ric Flair and Abyss mostly. Now, I like crazy Ric Flair just as much as the next guy, but he goes too far "freaking out" during his promos. He repeats himself more than he has to almost like he doesn't really know what to say next. He is very uncertain of himself, and it just seems really hectic. Abyss on the other hand. He needs to stop screaming at the top of his lungs when the subject of his promo isn't even that serious. How many times to you have to scream "WE'RE GOING TO KICK YOUR ASSSSSS!!!!!" straight into the camera so your spit and the moisture or w/e from your big ass face and ratty ass hair gunks up the camera so we can't even make out the picture. DAMN.

Don't take this as an "I HATE TNA" thread, because it is not. I watch TNA, just little things like this make it sometimes hard to watch.

My biggest pet peeve is them trying to be WWE. They try so hard, but just look stupid in my opinion. There are so many times when I watch TNA and just shake my head and askss my black ass why am I watching this? Instead of copying WWE and recycling previously done storylines and other things they should just come up with something original.

Example: Kurt Angle vs Anderson cage match at Lockdown. Obviously when Anderson gave Angle the finger they were ripping off the Stone Cold vs McMahon cage match from 1998/9 I think it was 99 for sure.. They should just not mention WWE and be their own promotion. They shouldn't acknowledge WWE at all, it kind of takes away from the product for me. I wish they could just go out there wrestle their matches, do their stupid interviews with no direction. Ugghh, it frustrates me just thinking about TNA right now I got to go cut my self now..

The impact zone audience....not the fan fans, but the studio "Bubba Army" or whatever it's called....just makes it look like that MTV wrestling show (MZX or whatever) with the whole....idk, I get Maury Povich vibes from the impact zone....plus, there's not enough room around ringside, I get claustaphobic whenever there's a brawl and the camera goes all Bourne Ultimatum shaky shit...but other than that....nothin' really gets under my skin.

Pet peeves:

Rob Van Dam wrestling or existing on tv in any form.

Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Vince Russo, Sean Waltman, Kevin Nash, Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair driving the TNA car straight to hell like they did in 2000 with WCW.

ECW originals. It's over and it's been over. Go to UPW. Now.

I'd say my biggest pet peeve is TNA's lack of coherence. All I ask for are great matches supplemented with simple but engaging stories. They book from week to week and everything feels like it's on a whim (hate to repeat myself from other threads, but c'est la vie). It seriously shouldn't be hard to write angles and feuds that actually make sense, but the bookers at TNA obviously want to prove that wrong.

I'd say my other pet peeve is that Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan (and others) seem to talk a lot of BS. Dixie has mentioned recently that they never expected to have good ratings out of the gate or to even come close to matching WWE's and yet months ago at the beginning of the year, Hogan was all about blowing smoke that TNA was coming for WWE, implying they would put them out of business. Sure, Hogan. Hey, instead of even mentioning WWE or trying to copy what they're doing or have done, why doesn't TNA try to innovate wrestling?

I want TNA to succeed because WWE desperately needs competition and I want a promotion that I can stand behind and proudly say I watch religiously. And while they get some things right at times, it's fleeting and TNA continues the trend of proving to me that I miss very little by not tuning in.

It's the whole situation where Hogan enters and suddenly turns TNA into a playground for his buddies and old-WWE friends.

On January 4th, Hogan debuted on TNA along with Nasty Boys, Orlando Jordan, Jeff Hardy, The Band. Along with Angle, Anderson and RVD, TNA look like a really stacked roster but the problem is that most of them are from WWE. The problem I have is that we've had a ton of them come to TNA ever since Hogan began.

When they put on a passable show and all the fanboys think they've got their heads out of their asses and they're the best promotion going.

Hogan. Bischoff. Eating TV time.

Abyss.

AJ anytime he tries cutting a promo.

The lack of Joe.

Kong hitting the bricks in favor of Spooge Sponge

Taz on commentary. I used to love the guy, now I hope he contracts aids.

Matt Morgan. Eric Young. Of all the more talented young guys who could be using a push, these piles of shit are on my tv.

Mike Tenay wearing a fucking tuxedo.

Jeff Jarrett. No one has ever cared or ever will about this jabrone. Hope he contracts aids too, from Karen.

The fact that a vast majority of the product they produce is just absolute garbage. Hopefully Dixie contracts aids too that way someone with half a fucking brain can take the reigns of this promotion and give me something somewhat coherent and entertaining.

Honestly the only real pet peeve I have with TNA is the random ass booking. Its almost like when they book a match, take RVD/AJ for example, they don't ever seem to have any long term plans for it in terms of buildup and aftermath. It seems to me that they write each show the day of or day before the show. Almost winging it in a wCw like way.

Honestly I don't have the problem with having the older guys in TNA. It's just the amount of airtime they take up that really gets to me.

They try to hard and half of the stuff they do, does not make any sense.
At least the wwe is average and it makes sense.

Lack of an X division. Before there used to be a lineup for a #1 contendership now most of them just wrestle once in awhile when they get air time.

Using their time wisely. 50% of the show goes to Hogan, Flair or Bischoff. 25% to promos. 15% to TNA Knockouts. 10% to making feuds, establishing storylines, RVD, Jeff Hardy, Orlando Jordan and pretty much everything else. TNA, you have 2 HOURS to use, use it wisely. STOP cutting to Christy Hemme backstage after every match!

Other things have been mentioned already that I never realized till now.

there's not enough room around ringside, I get claustaphobic whenever there's a brawl and the camera goes all Bourne Ultimatum shaky shit.

Just 2 things I don't recall reading....

1. Them trying too hard. It's like they're forcing the "we're not PG like that other show" down our throats with all the stuff they do.

2. Build ups and hypes. Take the previous Impacts. RVD vs Hardy, RVD vs Styles, and a title change all happened on Impact. Yet nothing was hyped. They could have been going for the anything can happen effect. But still. Enough of the surprises and mysteries. HYPE SHIT. BUILD UP SHIT.

Incoherent booking.
Nonsensical booking.
Not being able to make a big situation just that.
Not knowing how to use the talent they have.
Trying to rely on surprises for 1.0's
Vince Russo.
Heel AJ.
Screwing up their ratings winning Women's division.
Lacey Von Erich holding a title.
RVD winning a title.
Sooo many useless promos.
Eric Young.
