Ron Killings doesn't appear on TNA anymore for the same reason Austin Starr doesn't: He was released. His absence prior to his release was due to a legit injury, which he recovered from in time to have that match at Slammiversery.

Oh and btw, I know for a fact that, in the Truth's case, the release was mutual.

Believe it or not, you've GOT TNA originals in the main event. Look back at the King of the Mountain match. A majority of the wrestlers in that match had never worked for WWE in any form other than on a one night stand (no sexual reference intended). Also, as I already said, the first man to become eligible to win the match was a TNA original.

Well, no offense, you may be right, but that isn't whats happening now. Again, let me say that I DON'T think "TNA originals" are getting de pushed, I DO think that they should be getting more attention in the ME than they are. I hope Samoa Joe wins all the belts from Angle (though putting the tag titles in was stupid). But still I think a Styles vs. Joe feud, or a Daniels vs. Joe feud would do better than any feud that Angle is in.

Additionally, there should be NO excuse right now as to why MCM and LAX shouldn't be feuding over the tag titles by now. Clearly they are the two best teams in TNA. But with this whole Angle vs. Joe nonsense, the tag titles are basically being used as a prop to make whoever has "all the gold" look more powerful. The tag titles have no merit on Joe or Angle winning them because they aren't tag wrestlers. Its just more gold they can sling over their shoulders, to make them look like they have a crapload of titles. I mean Angle is carrying around the IWGP title and he isn't even the real champion! Again, using a title as a meaningless prop. I would say that half the people watching TNA right now have no idea what promotion the IWGP title is even involved in.

Rant over...

Well, the tag titles can be explained thusly: It allows Joe to become a triple crown champion, which we all agree he deserves, without giving up his loner style. Joe's always been a loner, in TNA and in ROH. How is he supposed to maintain that image if he needs a partner to hold a title?

But still I think a Styles vs. Joe feud, or a Daniels vs. Joe feud would do better than any feud that Angle is in.
It's already happened. In fact, they both happened at EXACTLY the same time. There was a three-way feud between the exact three you mentioned, and at the climax of their feud, they put on a match that got five stars from PWI. It took place at their Unbreakable 2005 PPV.

Additionally, there should be NO excuse right now as to why MCM and LAX shouldn't be feuding over the tag titles by now.

If the tag titles are being used as a mere prop, then so is the TNA World Heavyweight title, since it's in this feud, too.

Even if they don't, that's what Wikipedia is for.

Oh shit my fault, they did have a huge feud and yes I did see that triple threat match. See, I took a break from TNA at a time, and just started watching it again in April, so that would explain why I don't remember the feud. But that was one hell of a triple threat match. Again, my fault.

To the other points

-The heavyweight title is not being used as a prop because Angle and Joe are both singles wrestlers. In fact thats the only belt IMO that SHOULD be in the feud.

-The problem I see with the tag belts is that they should be in the tag division cause when you have teams like MCM and LAX there MUST be a good feud for the titles. It draws money, it just makes sense when you have teams that good.

-About the IWGP title, I wouldn't mind if Angle was actually the IWGP champion and walking around with it, but he isn't the champ and the belt has no merit when he holds it. He never even defends it (even though he isn't the champion), he doesn't even mention it on TNA programming, so why even carry it around?

And about making Joe a triple crown champ. I wouldn't even bet that he will be back in TNA next year. Why would you want to try to make him THE face of the company. Obviously he should be in the ME, obviously he should have title reigns, but ALL the belts on him? I wouldn't do it.

Well, I'm pretty sure that this angle is just a one-month thing. After hard justice, Joe (who I think will win) will loose the X title in a three-way (btw they can't say "triple threat" because it's trademarked by WWE. They did it one time and almost got the shit sued out of them) by Daniels pinning the third guy, and then he'll loose the tag titles in a handicap match, maybe even to the Motor City Machine Guns. That would shut up the 7-counter-point guy up (who seems to have run like the proverbial scolded dog).

If New Japan Pro Wrestling doesn't like it, why don't they just sue for international trademark infringement? Apparently, it's not that big of a deal.

Joe already is THE face of the company. He was made THE face of the company long before his relations with TNA strained. They practically have to make him the Stone Cold Steve Austin of TNA now. As the saying goes, they've made their bed and now they have to sleep in it.

Btw, Joe only turned down one offer, and it was a mere contract extension, which means that they changed nothing about his contract except the expiration date. Perhaps all Joe wants is a whole new contract, complete with twice the pay or something. Joe's never really explained why he refused the extension, so for all we know, that could be the reason, and being the Joe mark I am, I don't know about you, but I choose to cross my fingers and hope for the best.

I've been saying this forever [as a major Sabin mark], so I'm glad that someone else is agreeing with me.

Are you going to make any more productive contributions to this thread, or are you just going to make useless posts?

Let's look at all of the WWE rejects getting pushed in TNA at the moment

Kurt Angle is in the ME of EVERY PPV

Christain is in the ME of almost every PPV

A-Train is going to appear soon

Test was in a high profile match at Hard Justice

Christy Hemme was in a mid card storyline getting pushed along with...

VKM has been getting a push lately by fueding with LAX

The Dudleyz are now fueding with the Steiners who faced Kurt Angle at Impact.

Scott Steiner is now getting a push since he's returned

Ron Killings is getting a push along/against Pacman Jones

Black Reign :puke:, he's just redebuted with TNA and he's getting a push against the man that was in the ME of Slammy

Rhino is in a fued with James Storm which had a specialty match at Hard Justice

Tomko was in the Chamber match at Hard Justice with Sting, Abyss, Test, Cage, and Styles which are all now TNA ME's.

Bob Backlund.......

Kevin Nash is now the manger of the soon to be (we all know it's coming) TNA Tag Champs Shelley and Sabin.

Matt Morgan is the bodyguard of the GM (it's pretty much the GM) of Impact, don't tell me that's not getting pushed

Now most of those people are WWE rejects, and dont' tell me that Test, Morgan, Nash, Backlund :shifty:, Tomko, Killings, and Goldust aren't rejects. Because last time I checked WWE has released every single one of those people at one time or another in their careers.

So are you saying that you want to see the WWE guys simply job out to everyone? Sharkboy beats Kurt Angle; Normon Smiley beats Team 3-D in a handicap tables match? Martyr kicks VKM's ass so bad that they go back to WWE? Of course they're getting a push; they're getting a push for the same reason Sting is getting a push: Not because they are WWE rejects, but because they are big names, and nothing else. End of story. It's that simple.

Bottom line is that there are WWE guys getting pushed, but so what? TNA originals are also getting pushed, so why bitch so much?

Again, they only have one hour a week. They have to prioritize. Perhaps a lot of TNA talent does deserve a push, but they can't give them all a push simply because of time restraints.

Someone tell me what's so difficult about this. PLEASE!

I personally think it's a crime that now TNA is signing these names they have to release guys like Brother Runt, Martyr, etc. I mean some of the people they are releasing have been very loyal to TNA and they will axe them for a steroid jacked Test and Matt Morgan? Come on. TNA lost faith in their originals just because they didn't feel like pushing them. I just fear for AJ, he has so much talent and I don't want TNA to ruin it.

TNA is trying to push away from WWE, but they are just becoming WWE with all of this old talent. I can't believe how TNA just shits on WWE, when 45% of the people on their roster was from WWE....that's just stupid on TNA's part.
