:okay: I see how it is.

The replay is on my TV now. :yay: I DVR-ed it, but still. lol

Glad to know you agree. That was the gist I got from what I saw of it. Seemed like a good, solid show, just with a piss-poor crowd, which sucks.

Agreed. Wonder why they weren't into it?

Also, did you get your interwebz fixed? :smug:

I have nooooo clue. I guess they're just crazy or stoned. Or maybe foreign and had no clue what was going on. From what I could see there really wasn't any reason for them to not be into it.

Well.....except for Chavo. Chavo is always the exception.

No, still not. :okay: I'm having to use a proxy to do what I can, which just makes me feel like I'm being bad. :gusta: Apparently it is an issue with my internet provider, so hoping it'll be fixed by Sunday evening, and if not then I'll have to call them Monday. Joy.

When in doubt, blame Chavo :obama:

Ah I see, that sucks. Good luck! Hopefully you can get that fixed :smug:

Taz is the worst person on Earth.

True, the way he ruined his best man and poor Brooke Hogan wedding is just disgusting.

Doug Williams & Kid Kash vs. Tony Nese & Rashad Cameron from this show is itself worth watching the entire show. Such an awesome tag team match.

TNA X-travaganza on PPV (IMPACT Zone, Orlando)
[/size]

1. Seven Way Xscape Match (Christian York vs. Alex Silva vs. Sam Shaw vs. Jimmy Rave vs. Lince Dorado vs. Puma vs. Matt Bentley)

An OK opener that could have been much, much better. MVP of the match: Sam Shaw. Shaw and Silva really belong in the main roster, get them out of OVW ffs. **

2. "Old School vs. New School" - Doug Williams & Kid Kash vs. Rashad Cameron & Tony Nese

Fucking awesome tag match and this one gets a MOTN title from me. Kash was at his all time high in stiffness, and Nese was the MVP of the match. The way that guy executes moves.... Unbeliavable. ***1/2

3. Robbie E vs. Chavo Guerrero (w/ Joseph Park as the special ref)

The worst match of the show (DUH!), but yet decent I guess. Park added what he had to the match to make it decent at the end. Chavo's pre-match promo was fucking horrible like usual. *1/2

4. Four Way Ultimate X (Kenny King vs. Zema Ion vs. Mason Andrews vs. Rubix)

This was good. All four guys were at the level they can be and I have no major complaints. ***

5. Special Tag Match: Bad Influence vs. Petey Williams & Sonjay Dutt

Another good match on the show featuring one awesome and one good team in Petey & Dutt. Expected a bit more, but no complaints tbh. ***

6. Final Battle, No DQ - RVD vs. Jerry Lynn

A nice send-off to Jerry Lynn. This was fairly good match and it's nice to see TNA gave a proper farewell match to one of their pioneers and legend of the X Division. Goodbye Jerry! Wrestling world will miss you! **3/4

7. Main Event - Samoa Joe vs. Austin Aries

Very, very good match, but it didn't top the "Old School vs. New School" tag match from earlier on the show. Awesome outing from both guys, as expected. Their Slammiversary X match was better (obviously). It didn't reach the excellent level, but not too far from that level. Plenty of very good wrestling, nice manuvers, Joe's selling of the leg wass off the charts, and AA was on his level, obviously. ***1/2

OVERALL: For only 15$, this was well worth seeing. Two very good matches in Aries/Joe and Old School/New School, three good matches in RVD/Lynn, Ultimate X and WTTCOTW/Dutt & Petey, an OK opener and a Chavo promo and a match. Note: if you REALLY REALLY hate Taz and Tenay arguing, just mute it. Some parts of their announcing were downright horrible and disgusting to listen. There were some funny moments from Taz, but that's it.

6.5/10

Finally getting around to watching this, just had to get in here to point out the obvious:

SHUT THE HELL UP TAZ! Jesus Christ. They had to get the nightmare team back together for this one, didn't they?

Before, it seemed like it was oil and water. Tenay and Taz just didn't seem like two guys who never really talked, so they didn't have much chemistry and there were lots of awkward pauses and stuff. Now, it seems like there's not only no chemistry with no Todd Keneley as a filter, but Taz's terrible comedy post-heel-turn is dragging everything off track, and Mike Tenay is egging him on while calling bits and pieces of match. This commentary is ass!

So far the PPV has been pretty good though. Big props to TNA for giving these meaningless matches meaning and having interviews and stuff. Thank you.

EDIT: Should have seen what Test said earlier and just mute the show. I'll give it a 7.5. Expected balls-to-the-walls action, but this felt more like a typical PPV full of athletic wrestlers.

:haha:

Taz's only good lines were in the Lynn-BVD match where he said that "Jerry Lynn is at stake in this retirement match" and that "Lynn is an egomaniac for doing this retirement tour".

Terrible commentary. And he called Rubix a "Rubik".:facepalm1:

Another good line from Taz:

"i don't get why an old man like Earl Hebner is refereeing a tag team X Division match."

Good point Tazmania. Earl was barely moving and is slow when you need to count fast.
