TNA X-Division Championship
Brian Kendrick (c) vs. Austin Aries

Austin Aries has had a great run in TNA since returning to the company. He has been featured regularly on the programming and since debuting has been around the X-Division title scene. I am hopeful that this time Aries will win the title and be the figurehead of the X-Division.

Who do you think will win?

This again shows you how clueless TNA when it comes to building up talent, Aries only debut two months again, if he wins the X Title now it will not mean anything like it would be with a proper long push and title win further down the line.

I am not a big Kendrick fan, but it would make sense for him to retain here, but I suspect we might be seeing a new champion myself.

I actually thought that TNA should have made the title change a month or two ago when Aries first had a title match. Kendrick is not a good champion and the division needed a spark and Aries is that spark. He had heaps of momentum after winning the contract on PPV and then he had the title match in which he wasn't pinned so winning it now makes a lot of sense.

But as a rule I don't think anyone no matter how talented should be winning a title two months after arrivalling, also because Aries is likely to become a regular in the X Division then this is the top title for him to win. I am a huge fan, and think he could be the name to build the division around, which is another reason why they can't rush this title change.

If they delay it again I think that it could hurt his momentum as I don't see him getting another title shot anytime soon. I think that TNA should capitalise on this momentum and make the title switch now to keep this storyline strong. I don't see the advantage of keeping the title on Kendrick for any longer.

I still think Kendrick is good enough to carry it while Aries is given the proper build.
