They were still TNA in 2016 when he could have signed... he still chose NJPWThe only way Will would have signed with TNA is if they kept the name and Will in early days of New Japan didnt renew his contract and all. As much as I love IMPACT/TNA it isnt and wasnt the place for big time misawa arc 5 star 5 star Will Ospreay to signed to.
Went to New Japan to sharpen his skills, and 2016 TNA wasnt that great if I remember right soThey were still TNA in 2016 when he could have signed... he still chose NJPW
also by upping the price of the big free agents u expend aew and wwes budget to overpay for popular up and comers and midcarders so it benefecial to talents and TNA i thinkEven if they missed out on long-shots like Punk and Ospreay, this def means they'll be more likely to actually spend on your Ali's or Ziggler and could even outbid AEW who might not have as much interest to offer too much money for mid card acts for them
So Drew it is then.0/2 for Osprey and Punk but I think they were massive reaches. Agree that the fact they are at least trying is a good thing and they do have some money to spend.
The ONLY way I'd want to see that is if Joe Hendry makes an entrance video for him. We're forgetting about the biggest current free agent rn
