According to PWInsider, we may still see a Velvet Sky return. Dixie Carter contacted Sky after she heard that she was released and discussed what it would take for Sky to stay with the company. While no official negotiations are known to be taking place, Carter was said to be upset that Sky was released after all the time spent developing her character (including the recent Montgomery Gentry Music Video).
