I just find it funny how TNA tries to put over its wrestlers by referring to them as former WWE IC champions (Rikishi).

It seems alright to put wrestlers over by referring to them as former champions, but why mention the WWE? Its like a Bush League baseball team trying to sell tickets by advertising the arrival of a former NY Yankee World Series Champion.

TNA shouldn't be putting over the WWE by making it a big deal that a former WWE champion is now on TNA.

Thats there problem. They are less focused on making new stars and putting more of their efforts into bringing in ex WWE stars. This might help them in the short term, but eventually when they need young stars, they won't be there because they haven't developed them properly or they grew frustrated and left. I realize that they are going to 2 hours thus need a deeper roster, but that second hour should be focused on building up the x division.

The WWE is in a far better place to be right now. They have their flagship shows plus a program focused solely on building young talent.

yeah not really an invasion. Keep in mind Peep you also said WWE fans are too dumb to do this...TNA fans didn't do this, TNA hired people to advertise at the WWE show. WWE doesn't pay people to go advertise for them. Thats the difference. secondly WWE fans showing up at the Impact zone wouldn't get there asses kicked because its on Universal Property. Any fan brawls like that would no doubt not only get the TNA fan arrested for assult, but would also most likely get TNA itself in hot water as Universal is a family theme park and street fights outside in the park area is not what Universal would want.
