Looks like an awesome show imo. Brooke Tessmacher in the A&Es is probably the only thing I'll dislike of the show.

The 8/22 Impact opens w/ Bad Influence & Roode in the ring. Roode congratulates Bully on his world title win but says he now has a target on his chest. Roode says he's in 2nd place in the BFG series & asks Austin Aries to join him & Bad Influence to have more control of the series. James Storm & Gunner interrupt, leading to a tag match. Roode & Kazarian win the match after a low blow by Roode to Storm.
LAME

Manik def Sonjay Dutt. I guess the rule about X Division matches having to be 3 ways is done or TNA just forgot.
I knew it, the "Evolution of the X division" was just a waste of time

Joseph Park won a street fight against Chris Daniels, Jay Bradley & Hernandez. Aries came out & looked like he was going to help Daniels but instead hit him.
Aries a face again? WHO CARES

Bully comes out w/ Tito Ortiz who's now a member of Aces & 8s. They gloat about Bully winning the title & Bully says he's gonna shock the world by revealing his Brooke. Out comes Brooke Tessmacher & she makes out w/ Bully. Bully says he has the 'hot Brooke' now.
TNA just fucked this up more with Ortiz now in the Aces and Eights, but what? Tess? I know Brooke Hogan was released but TNA is just gonna cover this up with that? company is going down under.

Gail Kim beat ODB.
So

The 5th man in the Main Event Mafia is AJ Styles, who is back to being phenomenal w/ his old theme song. The crowd loved it. Main event time.
You have gotta be fucking kidding me that heel turn barely lasted WTF,I mean yeah he was all a mess but the people loved it

Devon, Brisco, Bischoff, Anderson & Knux were the Aces and 8s team. Styles Clash on Devon for the win, the crowd went nuts. Devon must leave TNA, perhaps to take the agent job that was vacated by D' Lo Brown.
WHAT, Devon was another guy keeping the gang up, STUPID

The crowd chanted "Thank you Devon" after the match. He posed for the crowd and then left.
Well you can't blame Devon

Much of the crowd left after this, but TNA taped an Xplosion match where Jay Bradley beat Joseph Park.
And you can't blame that much of the crowd for leaving.
disagree with everything you said.

The show sounds okay but he took it overboard, What would you expect from someone who says DX was its best is 2006.

TNA hit a rough patch with money for like a week, Its all good now. They should try and work smaller arenas because the crowd seem to leave and they cant sell all the seats etc. Its not a dig at them its just a suggestion. Also think they should go back to 12 PPVs a month instead of free TV PPVs with no build and random BFG matches.

Cant wait though, Bought tickets for a TV taping.

How so? Both Dest X and Hardcore Justice have had build to it, and both brought TNA some well needed ratings boost, and that's exactly what Spike wants from TNA days. It's a good move by TNA.

"Random" BFG matches? Hmm, what? Each of those matches is a part of BFG Series, I for sure as hell don't know what you're talking about in that part.

Awesome. For which town - St. Loius, Little Rock?

It was a good move for ratings yes but its less enjoyable to watch with no build up, Even if they did a free PPV per month at least have build up.

Read that back, Kinda stupid thing to say :p

Its not till January sadly, UK Tour and they are coming to my home town Glasgow for the TV Taping so I bought some tickets, Cant wait to mark for Aries.

I did think the buildup for the recent specials have been quite good, of course not like they're building up a massive PPV like BFG, but they've built it up well and got us tuning in to see these special matches. I also loved how Hardcore Justice was pretty much all Hardcore-type matches, because I hated when the WWE would use a themed PPV but not throw out the big match types (though, they have recently improved)

Yeah, I can't wait until january myself as I'm in England right now. Even though I won't go to watch the event (I've only ever watched football live, and I don't even feel right cheering, haha), I'll enjoy the event so much -- especially as UK fans always come out with massive chants and pops.

The build up for the Main Event is fine but they need to build up smaller feuds.

True that, I would personally like a good X-Division feud or maybe even a good non-title feud but I'd be okay if they don't do a bad X-Division feud but trade that for a good X-Division one (putting more time into BFG series now) later, when Zema Ion and co. will be back and they'll have more time for anything non-WHC, Aces and Eights vs Main Event Mafia or BFG series.

UK crowds have been amazing for TNA since day 1, it's really awesome. They bring electricity, energy and of course numbers to the show. Would love to go to a TNA UK show sometime down the line.

Think I've got enough ointment on my ass to discuss this now.

The 8/22 Impact opens w/ Bad Influence & Roode in the ring. Roode congratulates Bully on his world title win but says he now has a target on his chest. Woot, legit opponents for Cowboy and Gunner! Anything involving Austin Aries and Ego should be great television, although Roode and Storm just can't stay apart, can they?
Also, where's Hogan... scratch that, I don't care. This is so much better.

Manik def Sonjay Dutt. I guess the rule about X Division matches having to be 3 ways is done or TNA just forgot.

Who reported this shit? Even as someone pissed at TNA this is just biased reporting. "Or TNA just forgot" Hurr, hurr, you're so cute. Match should be balls-awesome and great to see the triple-threat rule gone.
Joseph Park won a street fight against Chris Daniels, Jay Bradley & Hernandez. Aries came out & looked like he was going to help Daniels but instead hit him.

:lol1: That's great. Wonder how the finish comes across on TV. Great opportunity for a classic Park roll-up. Looks to the IWC as "typical TNA booking, pointless swerve, blah blah blah" but it cements A-Double as a babyface so that's far from true.

Only one segment of this crap, thank goodness.
Gail Kim beat ODB.

Hey, now that Brooke Hogan's gone, does that open up some money for some girls who'll actually do something? #WeWantIvelisse
The 5th man in the Main Event Mafia is AJ Styles, who is back to being phenomenal w/ his old theme song. The crowd loved it. Main event time.

And there's the face turn that's a year in the making. Wondering what the explanation was, but the timing of it sets up that Sabin getting screwed out of the belt lead to AJ getting pissed/turning face and saving TNA from the Aces. If that's the case, I forgive TNA for last week. Period. Good reasoning.

Devon, Brisco, Bischoff, Anderson & Knux were the Aces and 8s team. Styles Clash on Devon for the win, the crowd went nuts. Devon must leave TNA, perhaps to take the agent job that was vacated by D' Lo Brown.

The crowd chanted "Thank you Devon" after the match. He posed for the crowd and then left.

Yeah! Austin Aries and AJ got put over pretty big here. Nice job.

Show looks like an 8/10 on paper, but that's assuming everything comes across looking as good as possible on the show. There's very little MMA BS, only one real segment of Aces garbage (not counting the last one that actually has something interesting in it), no Hogan crap... and the rest of the focus is on the wrestlers.
