your quite welcome...

but the real question is whats your excuse going to be when ROH's "Man up" ppv gets more than 3 times the buys then turning point?

you know since we are on the subject of the smaller company beating the bigger company.

right so thats why TNA highest buy rate was 60k were ROH's is in the 100k range.

God, do we have to go over this every fucking time. THAT IS THE ONLY FUCKING WAY TO SEE ROH. That and the video wires.....

Has anybody noticed that when a WWE brand wins they rub it in everybody's face. But if they lose they come up with ever excuse in the book!:bicycle:

I'm surprised, but very pleased that TNA beat ECW.

I figured all the WWE marks would tune in to ECW just to beat TNA.. Apparently not.

And I'm still rofling at people who say "ECW is better than TNA".. the ratings mean nothing, TNA is starting to become almost as good as RAW. Fuck it, it's better than RAW.

I'm surprised that many people actually knew ECW changed nights.

I guess this provides some kind of victory for TNA. It justifies them at least continuing the course they are on.

congrats TNA! you just beat WWE's third brand (which was not even on their normal night.) Make sure to pat your selfs on the back.

Who do you think you are?
You think it's not a big deal if TNA beats ECW with a 1.1/0.6 Good Lord! That's like the lowest Rating in the History of ECW, 0.6 is just too low you know what I mean? It's a big deal and you just don't get it, and what if ECW beat TNA with the exact opposite? ECW gets 1.1 and TNA gets 0.6 [Which ofcourse would never happen], you would come and say "Hey TNA couldn't even take out WWE's Third Brand", god you are really awful :disgust1:

it really isn't that big of a deal, they beat them one week. Now if TNA beats them for the next month then yeah that would be a big deal. everyone takes one minute victory so seriously....

and besides ECW is pretty fucking awful with a few exceptions (those being Punk, Shelton finally getting pushed, and Burke). The majority of TNA these days is filled with Kurt Angle in every other segment. so in reality both of these brands are lucky to be pulling the numbers that they are....

EDIT: The Quote button is not working!

Did you ever watch ECW? Do you know the timeslot of ECW and Impact! Live? Please, there is no Ratings War going on every week between Impact and ECW, the third show as you call it.

The majority of TNA these days is filled with Kurt Angle in every other segment. so in reality both of these brands are lucky to be pulling the numbers that they are..

It's ECW that's lucky pulling the numbers not TNA, and as for the line which said Kurt Angle in every other segment, go sit at home, relax and watch an episode of Impact, you are not only going to see Kurt Angle you must have forgotten about Samoa Joe, Abyss, Rhino, Team3D and so many more.

^The quote button is working, you just didn't close the tags correctly...

Anyways, like I said before. Now the true test would be TNA beating ECW on their timeslot though.

Thank you. I knew somebody would come through. :)

but it is a viable excuse though. No wrestling show, from Raw, to Smackdown to ECW to TNA, even the old WCW shows have ever done well on a different night, no matter how hard you promote it. When Raw & Nitro were both bringing in strong 4.0's and higher whenever Raw was preempted it would do 3.5 or lower. One Raw even drew a 2.5 during that time for being on a different night. Its normal it happens. There was no way ECW was going to beat TNA on there night. ECW isn't that bad of a show, but its not good enough to beat TNA's only weekly show. (It should be noted though that Smackdown in Canada on Thursday night which was not properly advertised still beat TNA in Canada which airs at the same time as the US, however TNA doesn't draw good ratings in Canada anyways, and therefore Smackdown's lower number on Thursday still was better then TNA's number but whatever it doesn't matter)

It would be intresting since both shows on there normal time slots ECW does a higer rating on average then Impact usually. So put them on the same night ECW does about half its normal rating in Impact's time slot. Would Impact do half its normal rating on ECW's time slot? Its a strong possibility, but ultimately means nothing.

ECW's rating being the lowest in its history (0.6) is not a big deal despite what C4 thinks (and probably Peepshow too) yes most of the WWE sheep as Peep calls them would probably be saying it was if it was TNA's rating, but I would only say its cause for alarm if its your normal night and nothing else special was going on. If ECW was on its normal time slot and there was no specials on, meaning the normal tv line up, and it did a 0.6 then yes I would agree that its an alarming number. But I will go on to say that ECW will be right back at its usual rating average when it returns to its normal time slot.

Lame as it can be, only the IWC knew about the change, outside of it Sci-Fi didn't made a huge advertisement about the change, and there was no mention on WWE.com or progamming.

Just funny thing, iMPACT is better than Raw, curious that doesn't shows on the ratings. And BOW, to say TNA is better than WWE is as false as lame being happy about a show with Christian, Angle, Sting, Booker defeated a show with a CM Punk vs Mark Henry...and two squashes, and don't forget Kelly-Kelly in action!

Big deal, to me, the ratings show a clear thing, TNA didn't win any extra viewers on Tuesday, it was ECW who lost them because of the change of schedule.

my sci-fi showed quite a few adds telling about the time change maybe no one watches sci-fi that much other then to see ecw and the few other good shows on the channel and missed the adds

I think that this should be considered a victory for Impact. Say what you want about ECW, but the guys on the show like Punk, Burke, Thorn and Striker would have easily made it into the uppercard of Impact and some of them, notably Punk and Burke might go on to main event in the future.

That being said, I doubt the ratings would have turned out this way if Impact moved to Tuesday instead. They got to try to average at least a 1.7 or 1.8 first, then I think they could aim to destroy ECW week-in, week-out, giving WWE no choice but to plug the brand. IF they manage to do that then WWE will get up and take notice of TNA.
