Actually he's signed to TNA now anyway and may not have ever even signed a new contract with NJPW in the first place when he returned there so they probs couldn't say shit even if they wanted to. It's just CMLL that cares too, TNA got away with having NJPW and AAA logos on BFG last year, I just assume CMLL never knew

I’d rate Sting higher than Angle because Sting was actually wanted by WWE too. Angle didn’t have a choice.

You're not wrong, Im speaking on the impact of the signing though. Sting never went to WWE and didn't want to, Angle was fired but he ended up in TNA instantly as one of the biggest stars in wrestling right at the moment and Sting's most popular time was years past when he showed up
