For those who have asked about TNA inducting another Hall of Famer at this year's Slammiversary PPV, the company has been discussing ideas.As reported in the Elite section of PWInsider.com, at one point 6-8 weeks ago, TNA approached AJ Styles with an offer for him to become the newest Hall of Famer with a deal that would have seen Styles inducted and then wrestle on the Slammiversary PPV.
Styles turned the offer down as his priorities are New Japan Pro Wrestling where he's the reigning IWGP Heavyweight champion and a member of the Bullet Club, neither of which could be promoted in a TNA appearance as NJPW has a working relationship with Ring of Honor, where Styles also wrestles.

Angle only refused it because he felt like he wasn't worth at the time (going into rehab and all).

So that means AJ is going to accept it? He's only been burying them and their payoffs since he left.

I wasn't sure if you were commenting on Angle refusing the HOF because he didn't want it. Angle refused mainly because he was going to be in Rehab (or was in rehab at the time). AJ is refusing because he probably wants nothing to do with TNA. .

I actually thought you meant refuse it "like Angle" as in for the same reasons Angle did as well like J thought too. I get what you mean now.
