I was saying a month or so ago that I really don’t think they should repeat that angle.

I wouldn’t have a problem with Kazarian cashing in and being the shitheel who transitions it from Hendry (if they do it this time) and say…Santana or Maclin when they‘re ready. But it’s based on two ideas I’d need them to adhere to.

1. Don’t do it the day Hendry wins it. Let him have the space between major shows and win the next PPV main too first.
2. Kaz should lose it right away and whoever beats him should beat him in a definitive manner.

Then you can have Hendry go after his revenge on Kaz and save Hendry vs the new champion for another show. As long as they don’t do a prolonged heel reign with Kazarian…I like him as guy who steals it and passes the heat to the next guy.

I’m now buying a Joe Hendry world title win. Thought it was strange to go right back to it after he lost at BFG. But him winning NXT moment of the year followed by the news of a more permanent relationship between the companies…well…I’m just going to believe that they doubled back because they want the belt on their TV or they wanted him belted on their TV or whatever. Now I can be doubly annoyed if he doesn’t walk out champion again.
