Would be great but yeah I would be extremely surprised if ROH had that sort of money just lying around. Seriously Jeff would be great but can't see him wanting it back and the WWE would be the worst possible choice for everyone. I mean what would WWE get out of owning TNA other than a couple of stars they could easily afford anyway? but having WWE basically controlling the whole mainstream north american wrestling scene would be tragic.

ROH is owned by Sinclair Broadcasting now, and I don't know how that'd work. It would REALLY give them some exposure, but as much as I love ROH, TNA is the more well-known brand, and How would a broadcasting company feel about having it's TOP wrestling show on a network it doesn't own? It wouldn't make financial sense to move TNA to their network of stations, as they're not in a large portion of the US.

But yeah, Sinclair PROBABLY has or could get the money to do it, it's more whether or not that'd make sense.

How about NJPW? They just started broadcasting in english ( or are about to). It'd start to give them NA exposure lol.

I wouldn't mind if ROH buys them out. Don't know if ROH has the money though.

If ROH had the money wouldn't they have a TV deal? Or at least making an effort to get one?

They are owned by a TV company. They have a TV deal, Sinclair just doesn't cover most of the US.

This would all depend on IF Spike renews their tv contract or just cancels the show, no TV.....Then TNA is worthless to anyone looking to run a wrestling company, than it would probably just be poached by WWE for their library.

Not sure if Viacom would even think about putting their money on a venture that is a crap shoot when it comes to making money.

Sure it counts to them, don't see In & Out Burger giving their recipes to McDonalds. Which is what Sinclair would be doing if they gave ROH money to put them on Spike.....would be stupid for Sinclair group.

And McDonald = Viacom not TNA, TNA would be Arby's or something terrible like that.

Sure, it's a TV Deal. It's even regional, which in my lifetime counted for a lot more than it does nowadays.

But I meant more than ROH was OWNED by a TV company would be the bigger hangup than them having a TV deal. Even if it's a shitty 22 market Broadcasting company, it's still at TV company owning them, meaning a TV company ownership group would have to be the ones to buy TNA, and figure out the TV deal with Spike, or move it to their own shitty 22 markets. It's not unheard of, just.. weird, idk.

So according to Fighting Spirit Magazine editor Brian Elliott, TNA isnt exactly "for sale". They have been receiving offers from multiple un-named people in the recent months, and if the right offer comes around The Carter family would sell and make it public.

I.E Meltzers gossipping again. He really needs to stoogetest his "sources". That or he actually didn't say it, because he didn't bring it up on the Law radio show lastnight. Kind of would've been a big deal don'tcha think?
