Just rewatched the return and it was really well done from a production standpoint. Grace hits the muscle buster, you think it’s over, referee disappears and the camera intentionally makes sure you don’t see what’s going on until Grace puts her head through the ropes and that’s when we finally see the person in the mask.
The Beatdown is really well done and then after the arm trap DDT that’s when she takes off her clothes to reveal herself, immediately cut to a video package like she’s not supposed to be there. The announcers sell it really well, they go to the backstage segment with Gia, where Tessa says that she’s back to remind everybody who TNA was built on, and that she is coming back to take it. And then the announcers once again sell it like it was unplanned or what have you.
I’m really excited to see what they have planned for her when she makes her return to Impact.
And that DDT looks so cool
