Hopefully the rematch will be better though.

Shitty match but good ending nice.

good outcome but the finish was Blue.

TNA made that entire match/outcome feel lame because of how poorly it was all done. Felt so rushed.

wow, I should be hyped but that was just... ew

Wish it had been done so much better, but very cool to see Sabin get the title.

I know! It seemed like they were doing the whole "merciless bully vs scrappy underdog" thing, and then Sabin essentially cheats to win, ruining the underdog aspect. Dammit, that's what made this cool! :downer:

It's nice come-uppance for Bully and the Aces in theory, but dammit all! It's supposed to be Sabin's moment! Screw comeuppance, nobody cares, this was Sabin's time to shine and this just came across really odd. Plus they said last week that it would be free of interference...

Still, Chris Sabin's the World Heavyweight Champion, and there's nothing that'll take this smile off my face after that. Surely some people will try, but they won't succeed.

I posted this in the "Other Wrestling" section with their two matches included, but thought I'd share the basic news here, as well, in case anyone is curious:

Trent Baretta was on TNA Destination X special last night under the name Greg Marisciulo while Jigsaw wrestled on the show on Rubix. Both are scheduled for the DGUSA events in Queens on July 27th and Manhattan on July 28th. Before the rumors get started we want to let you know that their TNA appearances will have no affect on their current or future DGUSA/EVOLVE bookings. They will not use their TNA names in DGUSA or EVOLVE either.

Trent doing PWG up through August indicates that no contract has been offered to him right now at least. Might be in the future. Or a per appearance deal.

I'd love to see him get a TNA contract at some point down the line so I can see more of him. I was actually a little surprised he won last night since he doesn't have a contract and isn't full time.

It was a good choice since they shook things up heading into Ultimate X. Jigsaw is Quack's guy and Quack is selective with where he sends his guys, Spud is in OVW and they are probably doing things with him there. Trent was a good place filler. Plus, out of those three, a Chikara guy, a British indy worker and a former WWE talent. Which brings the most name value?
