The problem is that for a one night Tournament to work it has be the main focus of the ppv which isn't the case here. It just feels like overkill along with the other matches there are going to be too many rush matches. The way it should work is build the show around the Tournament and then have smaller matches every now and again to break things up.
Final thoughts on the show:
The main event looks good expect it to feature a good mix of arieal and techical wrestlers along with some brawling and it should set at a good pace too. Can't see beyond a Roode win which is fine as it is too soon for Aries to have the title.
Last Man standing match should be another tight encounter althrough I can't see them bettering their previous efforts and both these men need to move on. I expect great crowd heat and some good story telling from these two. Am going for a feel good Styles win.
The Bound for Glory match is very hard to call as it does seem for that for the first time in a long time that the company are interested in pushing Joe strongly again, also at this stage Kurt is a guy happy to be this sort of talent over and doesn't really need the win, still he is one of TNA's top draws still so it would be no suprise if he did win. This is a big chance for Joe to step up and prove that he is on the road back to being a top performer. Again I doubt they can reproduce what they did in 2006/07 but it should still be a good match.
Don't really know anything about the Last Chance Fourway, but am guessing than it is a lost chance for someone to get a contract or a title shot or something of that irk. No nothing about the guys involved, but again because of the X Tournament I think having a fourway X match is overkill and it will get lost in the suffle.
X Tournament has a decent line up and seems fairly wide open althrough King would have to be a big favourite, as you know I have issues with this.
Overall I like that they have made this event into a Division themed event and the main event, Last Man standing and BFGS matches all like they will offer plenty of quailty, but really less really would have been more.
