TNA's Bound For Glory pay-per-view will cost $34.95 rather than the standard $29.95. The price increase is for this pay-per-view only, according to TNA spokesman Steven Godfrey. The $29.95 pay-per-view price will resume for future TNA pay-per-view events.

TNA treats Bound For Glory as its biggest pay-per-view event of the year, which explains the price increase. The company has no plans to increase prices across the board, as one of the things TNA pay-per-view events have going for them compared to WWE, UFC, and most boxing shows is the cheaper price.

I'm still ordering it anyway lol. I think if they are going to raise the price, and if TNA really is treating this as their biggest PPV of the year, they should make it 4 hours long. It will help make it feel even more special, and it will give more time for them to add more people to the card, and make some of the matches longer. Its too late for that now, but maybe they can do that next year.

Thoughts?

I Agree with making it 4 hours long, but raising the price shouldn't have to do with it being the biggest ppv of the year for them. It should have to do with somethin else.

Well thank god for streams.

Well, it's their big PPV, so I can see why they are doing it. I won't order it anyways, but 5 bucks won't affect their buys too much.

well I agree but then this may mean either one of two things the matches won't have 20 men in a cage which we all hate - it has a normal ammount of four or five at most and then everyone gets their own sort of match. Or the matches that were already announced just get some more air time and the matches don't end in a squash match.

Even at 34.99 its still cheaper then any WWE PPV. The WWE does the same thing with Mania. Its always more expensive then the rest of the PPV's. I'd do it too if I was TNA. $34.99 is nothing for a PPV. If you want to see it, that price won't scare you off.

Us Aussies' get all of the WWE & TNA PPV's for 30 bucks anyway (I think $25 for TNA actually)

acording to xe.com 25 is like $17 US, making it about half the price.....so either they figure they need to convince austrailians more then Americans or there too stupid to realize that Austrailians are starved for main stream wrestling and could probably charge 3 times as much and still get the same buy rate. lol
