I’m sure they can limp the gimmick across a another year or two if creative wanted to it’s not a knock on the characters, but I think out of respect for the creator of the gimmick you gotta kill the gimmick now.

I’m really hoping TNA continues to try to elevate the international title because I really want that belt to be their top mid card championship. Not only is it a good looking belt and a good name for a mid card title but TNA has been negligent with their mid titles over the last 10 years. Constantly treating them like after thoughts. Digital media title was retired with no fan fare.

They do need more tag teams in the knockout division so they could possibly try to rebrand the tag team, but they probably be better off just splitting up. There’s a reason they got them belts off then immediately.

That blue is fucking gorgeous but also I do love the branding. I’m a fan of when all the belts have different color straps. I think black and gold is boring.

Elevating the international title doesn’t have to devalue the x championship, but I don’t feel the x division championship was ever truly a mid card title in the sense that it’s not meant to be secondary to the world title as it’s a completely separate division.

I agree... until they started Option C. literally surrendering your title to be named #1 Contender makes your championship feel lesser.

I’m gonna be honest TNA has never been particularly good at building a proper BFG card that makes me feel like it’s their wrestlemania like it’s supposed to be but this card tonight‘s not bad.

Injuries and other factors probably hindered what they wanted to do to make it truly special because card. Kelani versus Indy Hartwell for the women’s, for instance, doesn’t have any real build to it but there’s nothing TNA could do about that. But I do like Kelani as a performer, so I am still looking forward to the match.
