I don't dislike Lagana, but I don't think his writing (and Bischoff's too) is good for TNA atm since TNA looks to be in a bad shape right now.

We need more exciting TV, but of course that doesn't help if marketing department continues to be a big ass zero.
Gimme back my gimmick!

Pretty sure Lagana was there with Russo, Pritchard, and Bischoff, and all three have lead to much different shows. Wonder what Lagana's ideas really are? As enjoyable as TNA has been since Vinny Ru was dropped the ratings have done nothing but drop with him.

For example, If we had to write Hogan back in the script at BFG, I'd have him make a BIG SHOCKING RETURN NOBODY CARES ABOUT in the mid-card and take as vicious of a beatdown from ECIII as he can take in the name of Auntie D. You'd probably have Hogan and Dixie interfere in the main event and end the show with a live sex celebration. We'd all hate you forever but you'd get ratings.

Thanks for reminding me of Hogan. Now I'm pretty sure that in the ME everyone will be beating AJ Styles up (EC3, Aces and Eights, Dixie will probably be there screaming at him) and then the Hulkster makes his triumphant return and saves the day, getting all the spotlight. Maybe they even go WM 9 with it and he wins the strap. :awyeah:

No. No. No. No. No. No. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

Don't do it TNA. Don't you DARE do it.

Bully Ray is the best when there's some sort of stip around it (lets forget the table spot vs Hardy :D), and AJ Styles is used to having classic matches on regular basis, so I think we're in for a gift here.

I'm afraid of the finish though - there's Dixie, Hogan, Ethan, Anderson, Knux, Garett, Jarrett..... So many possible people to interfere and cause a (messy) finish.

Re-quoting this because... the more I think about it, the less of a problem this is. Maybe this is just me fantasy booking again, but...
-Dixie running in is a near certainty, but her character's supposed to be there to take real-life issues and get sympathy onto AJ from the internet fans. Still don't like that (tired of worked shoots in general tbh) but if this is AJ getting over on Dixie, then Hogan CANNOT come back. They've made it too IWC-friendly for anything involving Hogan to be a good payoff for this. Ethan debuting with a weak run-in sounds bad too.

-Anderson, Knux, Garett: With the backstage segment this week + the way they've been booked to get no help from Bully at all, the Aces and Eights can't help Bully at Bound for Glory. They've planted too much distrust. Am not sure what if anything Anderson's going to do, but he may come out to rub it in Bully's face... although that's better left for Thursday

-If Hogan or Jarrett come out and you don't hear from me for a while, that's because I threw my computer off my balcony.

Few notes from PWInsider about Kurt Angle's HoDF ceremony last night:

-Due to the direction of her character, Dixie Carter isn't at Kurt Angle's Hall of Fame Ceremony tonight.

-Jeff and Karen Jarrett are at the event and are sitting with Kurt's wife and children.

-There hasn't been any talk about Hulk Hogan so it looks as if he hasn't signed a new contract nor will he be involved in BFG tomorrow.

-There are currently 250 fans (plus TNA Employees) at the HOF Ceremony and there were between 200 and 250 fans at the Fanfest earlier today.

According to IWHeadlines, "Mr. Olympia" Phil Heath will be part of the "Countdown to BFG" Pre-Show on Spike TV. The 3-Time Mr. Olympia will be participating in a Bro-Off against the Bro Mans.
