TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Bobby Roode vs. (c) Kurt Angle

THE IMMORTAL BATTLES THE ICON
Hulk Hogan fights Sting

FULL METAL MAYHEM: Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn

CHALLENGE MATCH: Mr. Anderson vs. Bully Ray

I QUIT MATCH: AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels

KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP: Winter vs. Mickie James vs. Velvet Sky vs. Madison Rayne

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: Mexican American (c) vs. Ink Inc

X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP: Austin Aries(c) vs. Brian Kendrick

This card will be updated by staff when more matches are announced on TNA's website.

Big mainevent here where TNA have the chance to create a new maineventer and most importantly he can be classified as "home grown" since he wasn't a huge star before coming to TNA. This is TNA's version of WrestleMania so it doesn't surprise me that TNA have put Sting vs. Hogan on this PPV even though it will be a horrible match to watch. The card is looking alright so far and I expect them to add three more matches.

What do you think of the card so far?

Looks a pretty strong line up to me.

Hate that Sting VS. Hogan is a part of it, just hope that the greater focus is on Angle VS. Roode which I hope will be a cracking match.

Van Dam VS. Lynn does not need to be a gimmick match, it should still be good, but would be better I think without the add on.

Like the sound of Anderson against Ray, although both can be iffy in the ring, should be solid though, and I think Ray should go over here.

Tag Team title and X Division title matches have been added to the card. Seven matches announced with two weeks to go. Impressive by TNA to announce the full card two weeks earlier.

Roode vs. Angle, The Tag Match and X-Division is what only stands out for me

I think they all have the potential to be good matches (except sting, hogan) I just hope that TNA dosen't feel that every match needs to be a gimmick match like the last couple of years with ultimate x's and lethal lockdowns, both good matches but don't seem that special anymore as they have 4 or 5 a year

Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles has been added and TNA have made this an I Quit match. Good addition to the card as I expect a great match from them.

But how many times do we have to see these two wrestle? Yes they always seem to produce, but does it really move either forward to have pointless rematches for little or no reasons? Also you have to remember they have had truly classic matches in the past, and there comes a time when you have to say if they can't produce that sort of standed again then it is time to move on.

I think this will be the last time we see them face off unless it's for the title, the are a few reasons for this match such as hopping people will want to see it again, to turn Daniels heel, and because they probably didn't know what else to do with them

It does show that TNA are bad with long term planning. They keep going back to the same feuds rather than creating new money making feuds at the top of the card.

More bad news for that division.

Wish I would have come on earlier Zig sorry.

Results

TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Bobby Roode vs. (c) Kurt Angle
Controversial finish as Angle used the ropes and Roode was under them but ref counted three, expect a rematch but kind of a letdown.

THE IMMORTAL BATTLES THE ICON
Hulk Hogan fights Sting
Sting wins a passable brawl, Immortal attacks him after the match and Hogan makes the save thus turning face.

FULL METAL MAYHEM: Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn
This was a amazing match. Easily best of the night. Great spotfest. And I love the Van Terminator.

CHALLENGE MATCH: Mr. Anderson vs. Bully Ray
Anderson botched a move off the top and had to improvise for the win.

I QUIT MATCH: AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels
Was pretty good, finish came when AJ threatened Daniels with a Screwdriver. Daniels attacked AJ after the match to keep feud going.

KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP: Winter vs. Mickie James vs. Velvet Sky vs. Madison Rayne
Karen Jarrett was ref got knocked out and Traci Brooks counted the fall, so more angle here.

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: Mexican American (c) vs. Ink Inc
Aired on Preshow

X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP: Austin Aries(c) vs. Brian Kendrick
Solid bout, about what you would expect from these two, good choice of opener.

Also did a Jeff Jarrett-Jeff Hardy brawling segment

I read the results and I am annoyed.

Angle wins and keeps the title. The finish makes no sense either since they had Roode get screwed in the finish and now he will have to beg for a rematch. WWE did this about two months ago with Christian getting screwed against Orton but Christian complaining and whining for one more shot made more sense since he is a cowardly heel. Plus why did they have to do this to Roode after building him up so strongly on Impact. This was the perfect opportunity for him to win the title but no they needed the former WWE wrestler to win. Dammit why can't TNA give the fans what they want. This finish makes Roode look weak and I find it so deflating.

Hogan turned face again :/ Sting and Hogan fighting off a bunch of young wrestlers doesn't look that good. I assume that Dixie and Hogan are buddies now even though Hogan tried to take away her company?

AJ/Daniels finish sounds horrible. Daniels just quit when Styles wasn't touching him???

X-Division and RVD/Lynn matches sound good.

Funny that they had Jeff fresh out of jail on the PPV.

i think it was actually a great show as the crowd were really into it, the only letdown as far as I was conserned was Angle and Roode it was a poor short match, and the end ruined what could have been an all round good show
