Looks simple, standard, nothing special, nor does it catch my eye. The only positive is that its a BTB, which we need in the section.

Please. Sting is getting played out.

The feel good moment of the night. Morgan ftw.

How can Joe lose when he's repersenting his company?

TNA Presents:
Bound for Glory 2009!

Quick Results: (Mid-terms at school kept me from writing it the way I wanted to but the rest will be written in review form with lots of description as I had planned.)

The Beautiful People defeat Sarita and Taylor Wilde to become NEW TNA Knockout Tag Team Champions!
It was a back and forth match with lots of action from suplexs to high flying moves. In the end Lacey’s outside presence came to be a factor when she distracted the ref jumping on the apron forcing Wilde to chase her backstage leaving Sarita flustered by a swift double team!

Amazing Red is interviewed. He explains that tonight he wants only the best from the X-Division to get a shot at his title! He also explains that the X-Division title is a small step in his singles career where he looks to become World Champion for TNA!

ODB defeats Tara and Awesome Kong to RETAIN TNA Knockout’s Championship!
It was a brutal ladder match that left all three knockout’s unable to move after the match. Kong was the main target throughout most of the match. Steel Chairs, ladders and even the ring bell were utilised as weapons, but the match came to it’s end after Kong delivered a Samoan Drop off the ladder to Tara which gave ODB the chance to scale the ladder and grab her belt!

Team 3-D is interviewed concerning the possibility of becoming 23 time World tag team champions. Team 3-D are quick to answer that it would be an honor and they do have the best chemistry, but they are interrupted by The British Invasion who say that they are white and black and ask how they can have great chemistry? The Brits then say they have the best chemistry considering they are all from the same country! Beer Money then jumps in and says that they have been through more hell then all of the other tag teams are going to make it all pay off with a title tonight! The TNA World Tag Team Champs then step in and say that they have heard enough of this! Booker explains that Steiner and himself are the single greatest singles competitors and one and one equals greatness! It gets heated, but TNA officials are quick to separate them before the teams fight.

Homicide defeats Daniels, D’Angelo Dinero and Suicide to become #1 Contender for the TNA X-Division Championship!
In an exciting, fast paced, high flying match all 4 men had at least 3 chances at the X hanging over the ring. Suicide was the main target until late in the match when the attention turned to Dinero. Homicide made a final attempt at the X with Daniels chasing after him, but Daniels misses a flying clothesline allowing Homicide the X!

After the match Amazing Red made his way to the ring as Homicide holds his X high above his head. Red smiles and pats his X title as a stare down ensues between the two men.

We see AJ Styles in the backstage area getting prepared for his match when suddenly Kurt Angle steps into his locker room. Styles is pissed off at his intrusion, but he says he comes in peace. He says that if he is able to beat the icon tonight that their would be a position for him on the MEM. Styles asks him why they hell he is offering him a job? Angle says that he will find out later tonight!

Eric Young defeats Hernandez and Kevin Nash to become NEW TNA Legend’s Champion!
It is a very competitive back and forth match with Nash being assaulted for the opening 5 minutes by both men. Young finally turns the tables and takes complete control of the match getting some near falls on Hernandez, but once Nash joins back in Young slowly loses control, but not without a fight! Nash has the match won when he gets Hernandez up for a Jackknife powerbomb and hits it, but Young jumps in with the title and cracks it over his skull as the ref made sure Hernandez was ok!

We go to the backstage area where Bobby Lashley is getting prepared for his match. Styles walks into his locker room and the two shake hands. Styles says he is worried about something that the MEM might have in mind. Lashley agrees that it seems like something is up their sleeves. Lashley then says that he might have a way to fight back if they do anything.

We go backstage where the screen splits into four showing the four tag teams getting ready for full metal mayhem!

The British Invasion becomes NEW TNA World Tag Team Champions + Beer Money becomes NEW IWGP Tag Team Champions!
In a very violent match that consisted of tables, ladders, chairs and baseball bats all four teams put their bodies on the line. The British Invasion used some assistance from their big man on the outside to eliminate all the teams and grab the TNA Tag Team titles. Well Beer Money slowly fought back and forth with the other two teams hitting a couple crucial moves late and utilising the weapons to gain the IWGP tag team titles!

The camera goes backstage to where Dr. Stevie and Mick Foley are talking about ways to beat Abyss tonight. Stevie says that they use his past against him, but Foley says that they just go after him with weapons and Stevie make quick counts. The two continue to fight about how they are going to screw Abyss out of the match as we go back to the iMPACT Zone for a look back at the history between these 3 men.

Abyss defeats Mick Foley with Special Guest Ref, Dr. Stevie!
In a very brutal match that left all 3 men bleeding Stevie and Foley did all they could to hold back the monster, but it was to no avail. Stevie was taking out of the match numerous times leaving Stevie’s patient, Daffney to aid with the refing duty. The match came to an end when Abyss forced Foley to tap out when the bell man mistakened the signal by Stevie for ringing the bell!

We are in the backstage area where Matt Morgan is getting prepared for his match against Kurt Angle, when Kurt walks in. Morgan says he is in no mood for any shitty pep talks from Kurt. Kurt says that he has only come to wish him luck and that no one is going to interfere or try to pull the wool over Morgan’s eyes. Morgan says he can’t believe a word Angle says after everything that has happened in the last couple of weeks! Angle says it’s up to him, but this match is billed, Wrestling’s Best vs. Wrestling’s Future, to prove who is better and that he wants to know as well. Angle leaves as Morgan grins and continues to get ready.

Bobby Lashley defeats Samoa Joe in a MMA VS. TNA Submission Match!
In a very physical match that lasted 25 minutes Lashley and Joe’s bodies were put to the complete test with leg, head and arm submissions. Joe almost had the match won at about 20 minutes when he had the coquina clutch locked in, but somehow Lashley got to his feet and nailed a huge fireman’s carry. Lashley then taunted Joe by defeating him with his own coquina clutch!

Backstage we see the World Elite celebrating their two huge victories! Eric Young breaks into a emotional speech about how great it is to have a team that will never leave him. A team that is finally proving international stars are just as good as the United States. A team that is taking over TNA title by title! The crowd applauds the speech and does a toast before Rhino suddenly barges in and looks around at the team of 6 international stars drinking. He laughs and says to enjoy it well he can because he knows something is going down with Matt Morgan and his other future TNA stars. Eric Young puts his arm around Rhino and gives him a beer before showing him a seat and telling him to calm down. Rhino tosses the beer against the wall and leave as World Elite continues to celebrate.

Kurt Angle defeats Matt Morgan in a Wrestling’s Best vs. Wrestling’s Future Match!
In an epic match that lasted a little over half an hour Morgan and Angle went back and forth using every move in their arsenal. Angle hit 3 angle slams and made 2 attempts at the ankle lock, but Morgan is able to fight back from both. Well Morgan landing a couple Carbon Foot Prints and chokeslams, but Angle also fought out of those. The crowd was going insane with every move they landed. Angle was finally able to counter out of a chokeslam and lock in an ankle lock in the middle of the ring that forced Morgan to finally give up and tap.

The screen splits showing Styles and Sting heading to the ring.

We go backstage where Rhino is running into the locker rooms of all the veterans of TNA saying he is suspicious. He suddenly barges into Dr. Stevie’s locker room. Dr. Stevie is still angered from the match earlier and tells Rhino he is going nuts. Rhino flips out and grabs Stevie by the neck tossing him against a wall. Stevie tells him to calm down and that he sees some suspicious stuff, but not enough to tell the entire TNA roster. Rhino puts him down as Stevie tells Rhino to take a seat we go back for the Main Event!

Sting defeats AJ Styles to Become NEW TNA World Heavyweight Champion!
In one of the greatest matches in TNA History that lasted 45 minutes. Sting and Styles each gained numerous pin fall attempts and hit their finishers 3 times. Styles had control for the opening 15 minutes until it evened out with both men going back and forth. The crowd was into the match through it all, but Sting was able to pull out the underdog victory when he ducked flying fist and locked in the Scorpion Deathlock that Styles comes just inches short of the ropes!

After the match Sting raises his hands high into the air with great pride as the ref passes him his belt. Sting suddenly gets jumped from behind by Matt Morgan! Morgan beats him down with hard punches and then lines him up for the Carbon Footprint when Angle jumps into the ring! Angle tries to fight Morgan off when out of no where D’Angelo Dinero dives into the ring and clotheslines Angle! Dinero delivers a couple hard punches before whipping Angle to the outside. Robert Roode and James Storm then suddenly appear and start beating down on Morgan! It is shear chaos as Styles joins in on the fight with Morgan. Then the lights go out for a split second and when they come back on The Motor City Machine Guns and Suicide appear with chairs and hit Roode, Storm, Styles and Sting sending them retreating! Dinero climbs back into the ring as Morgan stumbles to his feet with his hands held high in the air! Tenay and Taz began thinking about what is happening between the new TNA members and the TNA Originals as TNA Bound for Glory goes off the air!
