Thoughts, Thoughts & THOUGHTS
So Bully Ray comes out and pushes his Twittah Machine like the world is gonna end if he doesn't get more then a million followers, thank god his promo was good because i would be shitting on him. Storm coming out was okay but is it me or does all his promos sound the same or is it his accent. But things get hilarious when the Ace's& 8's get Tron time and one of the mask men say some shit but they are using one of those devices that cover up their real voice. This is pretty much an angle advancement.
Mr. Anderson was on commentary for the RVD/Magnus match so i zoned out, but what i caught of this was good they didn't get much time which i though was great, RVD won with a 5 Star.
Kaz/OMD vs. Devon & Garett was fucking pointless, hell we didn't even get a Claire Lynch promo or Kaz and Daniels making fun of AJ and the baby. DA' FUCK. But back to the match it was boring and short it think it went 3/4 minutes like the first match, i think this might be the theme for tonight. One last thing i like that Garett has been in tna for like a year now and he's still got no real ring attire.
Robbie E is in the ring and brags about earning five points.
I love this guy, then Jeff Hardy comes out. Anyway the segment ends with Robbie T sending Hardy through a table. WAIT WHAT!!!!!! FUCK IT I really just don't care.
BEFORE THE MATCH JOE CUT THIS PROMO AND HOLY FUCKING SHIT THE PASSION IN HIS VOICE AND INTENSITY WAS LIKE 04/05/06 JOE.
Kurt Angle/AJ Styles the match that has been done so many times that i don't mind that it's being done again. Before the match Styles claims that he doesn't drink, so there's no way he could be the father. :hm: does AJ not remember the pictures, but moving away from the best story line in 12 years to the match which was damn good match, lots counters and near falls. After the match Claire reaches over the rail like a mark to tell AJ it's okay that he lost, but he just stares her down and walks off. Now Claire gets her Crazy Crackhead Claire face on.
Aces & Eights runs down all the people they've taken out so far, and tonight, we'll find out who gets the next Dead Man's Hand. Anderson walks in on James Storm to say it's pretty funny how every time A&E does anything, it benefits Storm in some way. If Anderson turns out to be their next victim and finds out Storm has anything to do with it, they're going to have another conversation like this one, except...different.
Anderson acting like a tough guy is hilarious
Tessmacher/Gail Kim NEXT! After the match, Madison Rayne arrives and makes out with Earl Hebner. Earl faints afterwords, Park, Park & PARK with another great backstage promo the guy needs his own segment each week called "LAW ADVICE with Park, Park & Park"
The contract signing between Bobby Roode and Austin Aries was good but it could of been allot better Bobby won't sign the contract because it stats that he will NOT get a shot at the world title if A Double is still the champ. Aries re-negotiates another deal with Roode. If Roode loses, he doesn't get another rematch, but if Aries loses, he loses his rematch, meaning that this will be the final match between Bobby and Aries. Roode accepts the offer. Roode throws his water in Aries face and strolls off. Should of been better what i don't get is why do this stip on the 2nd match isn't this they way you blowoff a feud.
The James Storm/Bully Ray match was okay i was still pretty down on the contract signing so i wasn't feeling it at the time. I did like Bully getting the victory instead of storm mainly because the guy already has like 80 points and did not need the extra 7. After the match, Aces and Eights are back on the tron. Instead of coming out, it turns out that the poker game was more interesting than the actual show, so they announce that at Hardcore Justice, Bully will need to be on notice. The show ends with Bully arguing with Storm, as Storm just leaves without saying anything. Kinda a let down cause i wanted another beat down but i guess well get one at the PPV.
Overall: This was pretty much an expected go home show for a PPV. The action didn't really shine apart from AJ/Angle but you knew they were gonna have a good match regardless.
