TNA World Tag Team Championship
Crimson (c) & Matt Morgan (c) vs. Samoa Joe & Magnus

Crimson and Morgan won the titles a couple of months ago after forming a random team right after the two had had a brutal feud with each other. They will defend their titles against another new random pairing in Joe and Magnus that was created in the Wildcard tournament to determine the new number on contenders. Interesting use of all these wrestlers to have them in tag teams, it is better than not using them at all but for me the challengers don't seem like a natural team at all.

Who do you think will win? Will either of these teams still be around in a few months time?

This whole division is a joke after they killed the momentum of building around Mexican America to just giving it two guys they want to push on TV but they didn't know what to do with them. Then on top of all this they decide that tags in the division aren't good enough so they just make random teams for a tournament. I guess Joe/Magnus has turned into a good team but Joe could carry a sack of potatoes through a match. It's almost like Joe is just filler and he is once again stuck with feuding with Crimson. The only thing I enjoy about their matches is how blatant Samoa Joe makes him look like garbage.

I was actually glad they took the titles off Mexican America because they were a terrible team that should never have held the titles in the first place.

I see a title change happening as well so that TNA can create more interest in the division by having regular title changes. It will also give them a reason to keep Joe and Magnus together as a team for another month or two whilst they are champions.

So you actually agree with dumping a division where they had actual teams building around a centerpiece in favor of just throwing midcarders together?

I don't agree with it at all but that is the way I see it going. TNA have basically given up on tag teams by dismantling all the teams they had, the tag team division is going the same way as the X Division and Knockouts division unfortunately. All that made TNA different to WWE is being erased so that TNA can become WWE Lite.

Going with Samoa Joe & Magnus, they've looked strong as a team lately and will eventually gain it and I see them gaining it here.
