TKO settles decade long lawsuit over UFC fighter pay

The judge is now not approving the settlement so this might still end up going to trial. The fighters side are essentially going to have to argue why the settlement is fair to the judge and convince him to accept it.

That's honestly kind of wild.

It's a very odd situation bc both sides do want to settle and the money is way higher than anyone would have thought a decade ago, but the issue is as the case went on it became more expansive and the UFC became bigger too so now it doesn't seem fair.

I think once more details are made public about the settlement criteria and who gets what he'll approve it though so not a huge deal on the long run
