Ok So i was hanging shit on my walls and found that in a magazine and decided to hang it. Once it was hung I was looking at it and started thinking. How many of those guys are still champions and once I counted I realized Trips is the only one still with a title.

So yea I know were all good with a title change everyone once in a while to spice things up. But to have 7 out of the 8 titles on new people in just over 2 months is kind of ridiculous to me. On top of that one of the title has even managed to switch between 2 people since that time. Definitely ridiculous.

So yea anyone think that WWE should put more though into their champs so were not switching ever other week.

I agree. Titles lose their heat when they change hands too often (as has occured recently). They need to make contenders 'earn' title shots and really make it a big deal if a champ is having to 'defend' his title. You are right on J-dawg.

I disagree. It seems to be like it's a period of transition for the entire WWE brand. They're taking this time after wrestlemania to shake up the usual contenders. It's like a time when all the people we, the IWC are constantly asking for to be pushed finally getting their push. Now, we don't really have that much to complain do we? CM Punk's push? Check. Kofi Kingston? Check. Santino? Check. I actually like it. I love to see champions for the first time. It feels new instead of the usual contenders constantly feuding with each other.

It helps put people over. But the title's used to have shit loads of meaning. Now there just basically there to make you like people. It used to be that an IC title reign meant you were almost to the top of the business and ready to move on to the Big title. Now you can win the IC title and be out the door three months later. Kind of dumb if you ask me.

Yeah. You want to push someone? Make them build up for months and feud for a while then build up a huge title match at a PPV in which they finally win it after giving their all. THAT is over. Not this 'get over quick scheme.'

Indeed J-Dawg I agree. However, Santino pretty much killed whatever credibility the IC title had left though...but I would say if they give someone legitimate (Shelton, Hardy's, MVP) a long title run it's fixable...the situation is fixable imo.

Exactly. If any of you actually took the time to watch Punk when he was on ECW the way they built him up was amazing. They built him up to the point where it looked like he was ready and still didn't put it on him. So when he finally won it, it was amazing.

The thing is now that everyone on Raw has pretty much held it there's no way to build up to an epic win. The only person I think could pull it off is Burchill. But he's a heel right now so I think they need to bring in a new face. Have him fight up the ranks for months before even stepping in the ring with the champ. Not randomly show up and win it like certain wrestlers *Cough* Carlito *Cough*.

I agree.

However, titles changed hands much more frequently during the Attitude Era. In addition, "everyone" complained when Cena had the title for over a year.

Attention spans are shrinking. People don't have the patience to enjoy a long run, which is why people bash the title holder holder two months into0 a reign. Then when the challenger wins, they bash that person.

Personally, I'd like to see someone (Orton) get a two year run with the belt and dominate everyone until another person (Cena) finally takes him down at Wrestlemania. But thats just me. Other don't want anyone to hold the belt more than six months, especially a heel.

Cenamark, I would LOVE to see that happen.

And why does Chris Jericho look like Zoolander in that pic?

:roflmao: I was wondering the same. He looks like he's trying to model and it's funny as hell.

As for what Cenamark said. Some people would get pissed. But I would fucking love it.

Lets have a look at those previous reigns:

Kane (ECW) - March - June
Y2J (IC) - March - June
Matt H (US) - April - July
Edge (WHC) - June - June
MnM2 (tag1) - Nov - Jul
Rhodes/Holly (tag2) - Dec - Jun
HHH (WWE) - April - Present.
Mickie (Womens) - April - Aug

As for my opinion.... Word for word, Wot Cenamark sez.

I agree and Disagree wtih points - here's why.

Agree with what you said because its true they barely hold it past one ppv without a title change and I think that isn't a good thing because at this rate the title shots for contenders are flying around faster and faster and it is less work to get to that main event status... I think they should work their way up harder and beat more people to get a shot.. If you know what I mean

I disagree because it gives a bit of a change and it gives something new but still I agree with you at the same time.

Idk about you guys but I think Miz and Morrison proved good champions can hold the titles for a while. Cause the truth is I never got bored of them as champs. They are awesome together and that's the same reason I was pissed when they lost them. Hawkins and Ryder in no way deserved the title's. They suck if you ask me.
