WWE had been planning to spend the next few months building Roman Reigns up with the idea that he would win the Royal Rumble and go on to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 31. He will be out of action for a few months but even in a worst case scenario, Reigns should be back in time for the Rumble and plans may not be changed that much.

With Reigns out, it appears that Dean Ambrose will be getting the push as the #2 babyface for now.

Reigns and Daniel Bryan should both be back at around the same time. Another Superstar expected to be back for WrestleMania 31 season is Batista, possibly doing his farewell run.
Pretty standard report really but will be good news for the WWE to have all 3 guys back for the Road to Mania. Given how he was written off of TV, I hope we don't end up seeing Batista/HHH at Mania.

With how WWE has been lately, just take the opposite of what you expect them to do and that's going to happen. Sorry Reigns, you're not getting the belt at 'Mania it seems.

It's like they're just trying to fuck up our prediction league tbh.

I'd like more details on D-Bry's return since I haven't heard of any sort of timetable until now.

Just seems like speculation posing as an actual story.

one would think Tommy John surgery for a wrestler has as much recovery time as a Baseball pitcher.

It's Cena's road to redemption yet again, he's gonna win the Rumble and beat Brock in the third and final match at Mania to become the champion.

Undertaker worked less than 2 months after it vs triple h ... But that's a real bad muthafucka

Yeah go watch their WM match again if you ever get a chance as Triple H diverted everything from the shoulder. He changed the delivery of every move to avoid the shoulder. It was a ring general and a bad muthafucka putting on a show

Meant for Taker in the long run, took the rest of the year off again and we were having "Taker injury update" threads like we always did.

HHH-Batista was done in 2005. Not only would this be almost the same the storyline, but they won't be able to improve on that series, and there are far more interesting possible matches for both.

Batista could face Brock. Either could face an ex-member of the Shield. You have Bray Wyatt etc.

Its been done a bit to death but either could face Cena. Jericho maybe for Batista?
