Thoughts on Abyss/Kennedy segment this past Thurday.

I say take the mask off and re-do the entire character. He's undergone every possibly change his gimmick can take in its current form. The current form of it is just ridiculous though. LOL @ autistic baby.
I actually hung out with Abyss one night (yes like legit hung out, not just met him) and he was a really fucking cool dude. His real life personality would be a hell of a lot more entertaining than this.

I personally think that it was pulled off quite well. I don't know why people are saying that Kennedy has lost his charisma when in fact I enjoyed seeing him talk on the mic, he was great in my opinion.

The segment was good too, with Kennedy telling people how awesome he is and with Abyss attacking him. Trust me, Kennedy can make big money for TNA in the near future. He can be the next generation SUPERSTAR that carries TNA on his shoulders. He's got the look, he's definitely got the charisma and he has the wrestling talent as well. This guy is absolutely perfect for TNA and it's future.

I think I said this in another post already, but actually really liked Abyss in the segment. I think they should drop the "Yes Mr. Eric. Am I ok here, Mr. Eric? I just want to be ok." crap and go with a psychotic type "Monster".

Like how he was in the promo, laughing and ready to kill Anderson. And get rid of the damn flannel, he does need a whole new outfit change. I like the idea about making "The Monster" again and destroying the heels. Something like what they tried to do with Suicide.

I don't think they should scrap the Abyss gimmick though, it'd be harder for him to come in as a new completely new character and start over. People already know Abyss and most cheer him even when he's a heel. He just needs "Abyss gimmick overhaul".
