Not really, I'm not saying WWE is racist at all, look at Khali. I'm just stating the obvious, Chavo and Rey fed off Eddies name.
More referring to SP, but you could argue only Khali because he's 7'3" tall. Whereas, Muhammad Hassan was just an everyday, average guy like Carlito who came in and got pushed like hell. I think they fucked up with Carlito when they turned him heel again on Flair. He was majorly over as a face (with Torrie) prior that. =(

Dang, great news, maybe Carlito can go to TNA as he said awhile back. I just hope he stays "Carlito" and not something else. I have a feeling that they might change his name to something like "Caribean Carlito" or "Carlito Cool," shades of his WWE Debut video packages, lol.

^^If he did go to Carlito that would be just the thing I hope he didn't do...add some weird thing to his name...We don't need a Carlito Cage...If the WWE doesn't own rights to your wrestler name...then keep it...It's like an identity...

The thing is... Muhammad Hassan was born in Syracuse and was living in Detroit, not to mention that his parent were actually Italian. He played an arab guy, he just wasn't arab.

Carlito actually IS Puerto Rican. That would be the main difference between the two.

Lmao...I feel like an idiot...am I the only one who didn't know that Muhhamad Hassan wasn't a real Arab?!?!?

It would not be Carlito Cage, lol.

DOES WWE own the rights to Carlito? I realize his name is Carlos, but is that enough to let him use Carlito?

^ WWE owns the rights to all images, talent names, likenesses, slogans, and all that balogna. Therefore, I'm guessing "Carlito" would have to be changed to "Carlos Colon."

or...

If the WWE doesn't have the rights to the name "Carlito," TNA could change his name to Carlito Colon! Wouldn't that be sweet! Give me a HELL YEAREAH!

TNA could just call him Carlyto. Just like Rhyno became Rhino.

Well... Italy is foreign and they both do look white. =/

LOL. Idk about the apple part, but I'm sure he would have to change his name. I don't think it was his intellectual property (eg: RVD owns the rights to Rob Van Dam), I think this is WWE's.

Yea, Carlito The 2nd generation superstar didn't depend on anyone to break into the business. He did it all on his own.

^ There's a difference between being the son of some guy in the indies and being the son of a Rhodes, Orton, Guerrero, or husband of a McMahon. Carlito used his dad to break into the WWE as much as any wrestler uses his trainer to break in.
