Other than JBL/Eddie and Mysterio/Chavo, GAB '04 sucked so hard. It had that concrete crypt match :TI:

Smackddown was still the better show back then, atleast the champ wasn't tagging and buddying up to a blueberry.

I disagree. Sure the Eugene stuff was pretty bad, but Raw '04 was a diamond in the rough, and maybe it's just because Raw was so bad in '02 and '03, but I enjoyed most of it. SmackDown was pretty bad on the other hand with the shitty 'Taker feuds and no fun undercard. JBL, and Eddie carried that show, and Angle when he was actually wrestling. Cena was coming into his own still, but he had no one to feud with besides fucking Rene Dupree and shit.

Well you got me on the Rene Dupree shit, and voodoo powered Booker T facing Taker.....Fuck.

Raw had Eugene and Kane wanting some Lita.....maybe WWE was just shit.

Saving graces were what? Trips/HBK for the 800th time that year?

If you try and forget the day and a half long Hell in a Cell match, they had some great stuff but that was mainly because of Benoit added into the mix. Benoit's title run was fun for the most part, even if it took a backseat to Evolution stuff after Backlash. Orton winning was great even if the run sucked. Orton/Foley feud was great. Edge returned and had a pretty good year. Eugene and the Kane/Hardy feud was shit (although, I didn't mind Eugene at times, he was just way too high on the card.), but for the most part Raw was entertaining in the main event, and had some pretty good midcard feuds like Christian/Jericho (after 'Mania when Trish turned). I'm not saying it was great or anything but compared to years before and after '04 Raw stands out.

Two 3-ways between Benoit and DX was a month long program, after that, he got Kane and a Blue sidekick he cried for....LOL Like Daniel Bryan. :DB2:

I didn't like this version of Edge, he was just a guy who bitched about his spot on camera and stopped Ortons IC run, I didn't like that frustrated character at all.

I did like Shelton being great for about 2 weeks or so.

His only chance at becoming a maineventer and Austin put the halt to that real quick by refusing to work with him.

And people wonder why he isn't in my favorite wrestler list, atleast Rock would work with anyone.

Never saw Smarkdown.....sounds terrible., like a place that just says every other wrestling company sucks and they don't know how to book things, but then they say they could do it better and they just do shit that was done already.
